Chapter 82:Nitave Aircraft Fun

Pete-

My body is sore. A few minutes ago there was a terrible explosion. A piece of debris came speeding towards my head. I want able to dodge it fast enough, so it hit my forehead and made me unconscious.

I'm in a crater, huge and deep. There are corpses of Nitaves strewn everywhere, their bodies riddled with shrapnel and scorch marks. Piles of ash surround me, the disintegrated remains of Nitaves who were caught in the explosion.

When I exit the crater, I observe the battlefield. Thousands of Nitaves are still alive, only a few hundred of them are injured. Three and a few others are battling. I step on a dead body and examine it. I'm shocked when I see that the corpse is Emerina's dead body.

"Who died?" Everett asks me, stepping into view. His face flushes with rage when he sees that the corpse is Emerina's remains. He grabs me by the collar of my shirt and pulls me close to his face."You did this!"

"It wasn't me, I swear!" I shout back into his face. He shoves me to the ground, then retrieves a needle-shaped sword from his backpack.

"Who did it, than?!" He yells.

"She died during the explosion, a piece of shrapnel hit her." Five tells Everett, tears on her face. She must be remembering when Troy was killed.

"Who created the explosion?" Everett asks her, anger clear in his voice.

"Me, Rico, and Lexie built a bomb. I was the one who detonated it, that's where the explosion came from." Five admits. Everett grabs Five, then slams her into a tree.

"How do you want to die, Five?" Everett asks her, his sadistic nature reappearing.

"Everett, stop." I tell him. He ignores me, then raises his sword. His sword gets blasted from his hand by a Nitave ray gun. Everett growls like a animal, then lunges at the Nitave. He kills the Nitave with ease, then heads off to kill another one.

"Just go, leave me to my guilt." Five tells me as Nitaves spot us. I stay in my position, but fly away when I see a worm-like Nitave monster flying to us. The monster catches sight of me in flight, then it decides to fly after me.

I'm grateful to lead the monster away from Five, hopefully she survives the Nitave attack. The monster continues to chase me as I fly. After a seconds, I turn my head and fire lasers our of my eyes. Four lasers hit the monster in it's hideous face. It squeals, a loud and ear-piercing sound.

I open my mouth and send a jet of purple fire at the monster. The flames engulf it's body, causing it to plummet downwards. It smashes into a horde of Nitaves, dead. The fire engulfs the Nitaves, and that's when I turn my head forward.

I fly faster, going three times as fast as a cheetah. The turret of a Nitave jet turns to me. Before the turret can open fire, I destroy it with my eye lasers. When I fly on top of the jet, I smash in the windshield.

The pilot of the aircraft reaches for his dagger, but I snatch him up.

"Please, have mercy." The pilot pleads.

"You didn't have mercy when you were going to kill me with that turret." I say to him. I spit in his eye, then drop him. He screams as he plummets to the ground.

A squadron of Nitave jets rush at me. The cannons open and shoot fireballs at me. I change my direction by zipping upwards. The jets follow me as we rocket through the clouds. I dive to the right, then fly downwards. I dodge a fireball, then grab one of the jets. It feels like it weighs only forty pounds to me.

I hurl the jet into another one. They explode, which means there are three jets left. I explode one of them with my eye lasers, then do the same to the other one. The final jet speeds towards me as I zip upwards. I increase my speed, going twice as fast as the jet.
