Chapter 10:Visitor

Alan-

When dinner finally arrives, everyone sits down including Josh and Nora's pet. I'm sitting beside Nora, the other person I'm next to is Danny. Sasha is sitting across from Danny. Pasetto is ahead of me, Werus is next to him. Josh sits at the head of the table.

I eat a spoonful of rice. Danny occasionally glances at Nora. Sasha stares at Danny, Werus stares at Sasha, and me and Josh notice it all.

" So does anyone have any stories to tell?" I ask.

" One time I--" Josh begins.

" Not you." I interrupt, " Them."

No one notices that I just spoke, Pasetto is too busy eating. Varlu jumps onto the floor and sprints upstairs. I grab my Pepsi, then take a swig of it. I study the Nitaves; they're also so good looking. None of them are ugly in any way. Sasha looks like she should become a supermodel, and be able to win every beauty pageant if she attended one. Pasetto and Werus look like every teenaged girl will find them attractive.

There's the sound of footsteps outside the house. It's terribly faint, but I discover that I can drastically increase my hearing and attune my ears to the sound. Now it sounds much louder. Josh uses Telekinesis to bring a nearby pistol to his hands. He must have heard the sound too.

"Nora, kill whatever it is, outside." Josh tells Nora. My eyes widen when she strips out of her shorts and shirt, leaving her in her underwear and bra.

"Why did she take off her clothes?" I ask Josh.

"She wants to give our intruder a show. She's such a slut." He replies, sounding angry. He must be angry that his sister is a slut. We hear a gunshot, and a body dropping to the ground.

"We should help her." Josh tells us when we hear Nora scream. We leave the table and bolt outside. The sky is dark and the weather is warm. I see a pale person curled into a ball on the front yard. Nora. There's a person in black, a Nitave, on the ground. Nora has been shot, a gaping hole in her shoulder. A Nitave stands a few yards away, now aiming his blaster at us.

Josh yanks the blaster out of the Nitave's hands, then kills him with it. Nora heals herself as Josh plucks a huge chunk of dirt out of the ground with Telekinesis, forming a grave. He dumps the Nitave's body into the hole, then covers the hole with the plucked out dirt.

"They shouldn't be back here for a few more months," Josh tells us, referring to the Nitaves. Then he spins around to face Nora, pointing a finger at her as she stands up."Don't go naked ever again. I'm pretty sure that Nitave wasn't amazed by your show."

Josh glares at her, then teleports away. Everyone else leaves Nora, except for Danny who starts chatting with her. He obviously wants to see her in her bra and panties more, before she puts her clothes back on.

Me and Josh get back in our seats at the dinner table. Sasha, Pasetto, and Werus also sit back down.

"So," Pasetto says, looking at Sasha."Are you going to strip too. You have big b-"

Sasha punches him in his face, causing blood to pour down his nose. He gets up, grabbing his chair and throwing it to the ground, then he stomps out of the room. Werus sighs and grabs his glass of orange soda, bringing it to his mouth and drinking it. Danny and Nora enter the house a few seconds later. Nora rushes upstairs. Her shorts and shirt remain on the floor.

I study Josh. He seems different now, more deadly and unforgiving. He's scowling as scoops up a group of rice with his spoon. There are a few scars on the left side of his face. His arms are covered with scars, like he's been in numerous fights before.
