Chapter 69:Rampage

Josh-

"Get up!" I yell to Fin. He slowly, and painfully gets to his feet.

"Come on Josh, don't be so hard on him." Candice tells me. We're training at an abandoned warehouse that I fixed up with my powers. I just knocked Fin down while we spar.

"Fine, don't come crying to me when a Nitave kills you in a fist fight." I say cruelly to Fin. Candice hugs him, while I stride over to the cooler. I grab a water bottle and drink it, enjoying the cool rush of liquid down my throat.

I head over to my sleeping quarters, which is just blankets surrounded by crates. I lay on the blankets and fall asleep. When I awaken from my nap, I check the time on my phone and find out it's 7:34 P.M.

I'm about to get up, until I hear Fin and Candice conversing in hushed tones. I activate my super hearing to listen on their conversation.

"Yeah, I agree. Josh has become insane, it will be better to kill him. I also have this feeling that he will try and kill us." Candice says. Anger wells up inside me, I cannot believe they're going to kill me.

"Let's burn him up, set fire to his body." Fin suggests.

"Let's do it." Candice says. They do not know I'm fireproof, which means I can easily fake my own death. I raise my head after one minute and I see them leaving the building. Seconds after they leave, a blaze starts inside. Soon, it's only a few feet away from me.

I feign pain by screaming, letting them think I'm being burnt alive. When the flames reach me, I make my clothes fireproof. After awhile, I hear the sirens of a firetruck. A couple of more firetruck sirens are heard and I teleport on the second floor. The second floor hasn't been ignited yet, providing a perfect hiding place.

The firefighters battle the raging fire with their hoses. When the flames finally die out, a muscular fireman enters the burnt first floor. He sees me viewing him from the window and yells something to the other firemen outside.

Three more firemen and one police officer, enters the warehouse. They must think I'm an arsonist. The fact that they're assuming, outrages me. I teleport over to them and punch the policeman in his face. I yank his pistol from the holster and prepare to fire. I shoot him in the head and do the same to the firemen.

When I teleport outside, I'm greeted by gunfire and shouting. I send the bullets back and start destroying my attackers.

"I'm going to destroy your entire town!" I shout, using Telekinesis to smash a policeman with a car. I send a volley of lasers at every living thing in sight. I vaporize houses and everything else where the Humans dwell.

I'm teleporting throughout the town, destroying everything in sight. I enjoy it, loving the terrified screams of terrified women. Now, I have become a monster. I don't even feel regret, I love what I turned into.

I send every laser at my disposal into the town, until it's destroyed entirely. I wonder what my grandmother will say if she saw me know, she would probably call me evil and attempt to run.

I stand inside the deep crater, staring up at the dark sky. I'm going to be in even more trouble with the Government, but I don't care. I'm prepared to destroy anyone who gets in my way, even if it's Alan.

Eventually, I teleport into the woods and kill a bear. My bloodlust isn't satisfied when I kill every animal I can find in the thick woods. During my massacre of the woodland animals, I come across a sleeping teenaged girl in a tree. She's probably fourteen with long brown hair and a beautiful face.

I consider murdering her, but decide against it. I shake her awake and she releases a ear-piercing scream. When I read her mind, I discover that she is a Shiner and wonders if I am also one.
