Chapter 76:To The Grave

After introducing Zero and Frad to everyone, Mack and Seven work together to create a battle plan.

"Sharkutt's City is an extremely dangerous and ridden with booby traps. The goal of the city is to prevent any unwanted visitors from entering the mansion, just incase they try to assassinate Sharkutt. There is a jungle surrounding the city that is the most dangerous and largest obstacle for us. The city itself is also very dangerous. Not to mention the millions of Nitaves within it," Seven explains."The mansion is massive, but isn't that special. Varstle and his large nose would be there, so you should try and kill him, Plaid."

Plaid crosses his arms, then says,"I'm not afraid of him."

"Damien has agreed to help us," Ekero says, turning off his cellphone. He must have finished a phone call with Damien."But Flenna isn't coming and after the battle, Damien plans on returning home to her in Australia."

A few minutes later, everyone disperses throughout the mansion. I'm sitting on a couch in the indoor library, watching Harry unsuccessfully with Seven when I listen to a conversation between Lanver and Sezin. Sezin is the male teleporter who we interrogated after destroying the Nitave base that used to be a few miles away from the mansion. I'm glad he joined us.

"Where's Five? She's kinda cute." Sezin says to Lanver.

"I last seen her in Lexie's room. Her, Lexie, and Rico are building something. I don't know what it is, but its deadly, Rico told me. And Five likes Troy, not you." Lanver explains. Sezin sighs angrily, then sits on a couch a few feet away from me. He opens his bag of peanuts he had in his hands, then starts to eat them.

"I'm going to be a beast. I also can't wait to see the dozens of Mikens get loose and rip apart the Nitaves," Everett says, stepping into the room. He becomes filled with excitement as he imagines an army of Mikens fighting alongside us."I'm going to jump straight into the battle. I also got even more powerful and faster. I feel like I can fight anything, I can't wait to get my hands on a Nitave. They are no longer the ones I fear, they should be the ones fearing me."

"What about you?" Everett says to Lanver."What are you going to do in the battle?"

"I'm not going to fight, I'm not like that. I'm going to run." Lanver replies. Everett laughs, then stares at me. Everything becomes blurry, then he says something in a language that I don't understand and I pass out.

Darkness is everywhere. Every place I look, is absolute darkness. Then everything brightens until I'm sitting in a vast field. It's beautiful with hundreds of flowers scattered everywhere. The sun is starting to descend, creating pink in the sky above.

When I turn my head I see a picnic table. Josh, Nora, Holly, and Mersidion are there. The four of them are chatting and laughing, with cups of wine in their hands. All of them are smiling widely and look innocent. Josh looks younger and looks like he is fourteen again. His black hair is short and his body is thin, just like it used to be.

Mersidion is in his Shiner form. His black hair is cut close to his scalp and his blue eyes are filled with childlike innocence. As I approach, Josh turns to me and smiles widely.

"Hey, Alan." Josh tells me, cheerfully.

"I'm sorry, Josh. I wish I didn't kill you." I tell him, honestly.

"Are you kidding? I'm free. I'm finally free, it's been only a few hours and I still can't believe it. Thank you, I'm finally happy again." Josh tells me, gratefully.
