Chapter 61:The Bad Night

Tomarrow is the day of the infiltration of the Alaskan Nitave base. Mack is hoping it will be the final battle against Sharkutt. Asott explained to us that if Sharkutt dies again, he cannot be resurrected, because the Nitave Resurrection Magic only works once and the Soul Transfer also works only once. Sharkutt has been brought back from the dead with both techniques, meaning this is his last chance to vanquish us, or we will vanquish him.

I shower in my own private bathroom. I'm was sweaty from today's training session and the cold shower was extremely refreshing. I wrap a towel around my hips and stare outside my bathroom window. Snow is descending onto the Washington ground. I wish we could train outside, but it's too freezing, instead we train inside the massive training room.

The training room is actually the mansion basement. Josh used his abilities to make it look more decent than it already was. Now the white floors are tiled and their are basketball courts inside.

I put on dark clothes, then I step outside my bathroom. My bed is large enough to fit three people, which is great, because that's more space for me. I watch T.V. for a few hours, then I walk outside my bedroom.

"Everyone, we're forming a battle plan! I need everyone who lives in this house downstairs, now!" I hear Mack yell. Everyone heads into the massive living room. The living room is vast, about the size of a small house, but some of us have to stand in the kitchen to participate in the meeting.

I stand in the kitchen with Simon beside me. Spider's tall frame is nearby, easily seeing over everyone's heads. Reina is to my right. Mathew is in front of me and Harry is seated at on of the tables. London and Cole are standing near the laundry room. The Mikens are in the form of pigs.

Everyone else is either in the living room or in the hallways, prepared for the battle planning to begin. There are various wide sheets of paper on the large table in the living room. The sheets of paper are all taped together.

"Now, here's how it's going to go down," Mack begins. He draws a square in the middle of the sheet, then he labels it 'BASE' in bold letters."This is the Alaskan Nitave base."

"The first team members on offense will be Alan, Jace, Kyle, Austin, Simon, Spider, and me. We will attack the base head-on," He explains. Then he draws one circle to the left side of the sheet. He draws trees next to it and writes down the names of Asott, Mathew, Josh, and Maddy."Josh, Kyle, and Jahan have created an outpost outside the base in the woods, yesterday. Harry installed computers inside and hacked into the base's cameras and alarms, which means we will be able to sneak inside while Maddy, Asott, Mathew, and Josh are inside the outposts-monitoring the cameras and giving warnings when there is a threat."

Mack draws a bridge to the right of the base. Then he writes down the names of Lucy, Troy, London, Cole, and Kim.

"The names written here-" He taps a finger to the bridge."-will be sniping the Shiners who emerge from the base."

"Everyone else will be staying here." Mack says.

"What?!" Pete yells, angrily. Mack takes a few steps back. Pete has gotten an intimidating appearance lately. He's gotten muscular and now has a six-pack."All of the training I did and I'm not even going to participate in the final battle?!"

"Listen, I know you're upset, but hear me out," Mack says to Pete, extending his hands."I want there to be people at home just incase Nitaves attack this place."

It's understandable, Nitaves do tend to attack us while we're at home.

"Anyways, we leave first thing tomarrow morning." Mack concludes, leaving the living room. Mostly everyone retreated to their rooms after Mack leaves. I'm eating a orange in the kitchen when Pete and Lexie walk over to the front door of the mansion. They grab their coats and put them on.
