Alan-

Months pass. The July sun shines it's warmth on my face as I train with my apprentice. She's my apprentice, because Mack assigned her with me. She was most likely assigned to me, because she has Earth Manipulation, just like me. Her name is Glenna, she's Australian-born and a friend of Damien. Her and Ekero joined us three days ago, and so did Flenna. Flenna left the group a few days after Christmas, but she returned five days ago.

"Can we stop now?" Glenna asks me, wiping sweat from her face. The hot sun is making us extremely sweaty, but now is not the time for complaining.

"No, run three more laps." I tell her. I'm her training instructor and mentor, which means she has to follow each of my commands. We're in the clearing within some woods near the mansion. This is where me and Glenna train.

Glenna sighs heavily and starts jogging around the clearing. I'm watching Glenna jog when my cell phone vibrates in my pocket. I answer it without checking the caller ID.

"Alan. If you want to see your family alive, I suggest you meet me at this abandoned theater. I'll text it to you," Sharkutt's voice says on the other line. He texts me the address to the theater."And you can only bring one person with you. If you bring more than one, I will kill your family."

Sharkutt hangs up and I kick a tree in frustration.

"What's wrong?" Glenna asks me, running over.

"My mom and little sister have been captured by Sharkutt." I tell her. Her eyes widen. She's fourteen and has no experience with battling Nitaves.

"Can I come?" She eagerly asks.

"No, it's too dangerous." I reply. She sighs and crosses her arms.

"What's too dangerous?" Lanver asks me, materializing. He must have used his Camouflage ability to appear almost entirely unseen.

I explain to Lanver about Sharkutt keeping my family hostage.

"I can help. I'll use my power to be practically invisible, while you're fighting Sharkutt, I'll be freeing your family and escaping with them." Lanver tells me.

"Okay, Lanver. Glenna, you go back to the mansion. Lanver, come with me." I say.

"So, where is the theater?" Lanver asks me as we walk out of the woods.

"Its near Seattle, we should take a taxi there." I tell him. I can freely be in public now, because Rob was able to erase the Governments' memory of me ever being a terrorist.

Me and Lanver take a taxi to Seattle. The ride lasts for nearly an hour and the sun is setting when we arrive at the theater. Lanver activates his camouflage and we walk into the theater. It's a abandoned cinema and appears to have been for about a year.

When we enter the building, we see Sharkutt in front of one of the restrooms. He's sitting down, staring at his black sword places in front of him.

"Where's my mom and little sister?" I ask him, viciously.

"They're in the women's bathroom, all tied up." A voice says. The person who spoke steps out of the men's bathroom. It's Josh. His black hair is short and he has a murderous look on his face. He has also grown one inch taller.

A teenaged girl with brown hair steps into view. She has a dagger in one of her hands, there's also a handgun within a holster that is attached to her belt.

"Josh, what the hell?" I ask angrily. I step towards him and the brunette bares her teeth at me, like a vicious animal.

"Sharkutt gave me the opportunity to live better. Me and Holly were living in a small town in Tennessee when he came to us. At first I was reluctant, then Sharkutt promised us that we will live happily if we helped him kill you. Now, here we are." Josh says.

"Damn you!" I yell, charging at him and punching his jaw. His feet leave the ground and his body collides with the wall. The wall is demolished as Josh crashes through it. Holly lunges at me, sinking her teeth into my neck.

She's about to bite deeper, but Josh teleports behind her and pulls her away from me.

"He's my kill, you stay out of this." Josh says to her. I can't believe it, my best friend is actually going to murder me. Lanver must be in one of the restrooms, freeing my mom and sister.

Josh grabs my neck. When the thought of igniting come to my mind, I quickly dismiss it-Josh is fireproof, flames cannot injure him.

"Look at you, you're supposed to be the Great King of the Shiner Dimension," Josh harshly tells me, using his nails to scratch my neck."if you truly are the king, you would be powerful and would have killed me by now."

He slams my head against the tiled floor, the pain is excruciating. Then he stomps on my right leg, luckily it doesn't break. Sharkutt rushes over and hands Josh a Nitave sword. I slam my fist into Holly's face and take her dagger and gun.

I aim the gun at Holly and shoot her in the head. She collapses on the floor, then dies after a few seconds. Josh releases a pained shout, then he swings the sword at me. I duck under the blade and plunge the dagger into Josh's leg.

"Take that." I say, insulting him. Then I aim the gun at Sharkutt. I fire it, but Sharkutt rushes inside one of the restrooms. Josh grabs the handle of the dagger and yanks it free, causing blood to pour from his leg.

Then he comes at me with the sword. I fire the gun again, but Josh teleports behind me. I leap across the room, avoiding Josh's blade. Lanver is suddenly thrown into the room, followed by my sister and mom being thrown with him. Sharkutt strides out of the men's restroom. This is terrible, he discovered Lanver freeing my mom and sister.

Sharkutt uses his sword to decapitate my mother and sister. I scream in despair, watching the heads drop to the ground. Then Sharkutt touches the corpses and they become ash. To make it worse, he teleports away with the ashes. Now I won't be able to resurrect them.

Rage dominates me as I glare at Josh. I morph my right hand into a sword, then I impale him. The blade enters his heart and he teleports a few feet away. I morph my hand back to normal, then I grab Josh's dropped sword.

I use his sword to slit his throat, then I bury the blade in his back. He quickly losing consciousness and I sprint over to Lanver, who is fully awake and only has a bruise on his forehead.

"Sorry about your family." He tells me.

"Thanks," I say, sadly."I guess the entire mission was a failure."

The double doors are blown inwards, landing on top of Josh's dying body. Seven and Pete rush into the room, followed by Jace and Kyle.

"Where is he? Where did Sharkutt run off to?" Jace asks, furiously.

"He's gone," I tell him."And so is my family. Josh is dying, but I hope he doesn't survive."

"Alan, I'm so sorry that had to happen," Seven says, walking over to me. She wraps her arms around me in a tight hug, I hug her back."I wish you would of told us. Glenna told us you went to fight, but she said she hated you. Glenna lied and said you went to the gas station to buy snacks. So we didn't know what happened until Everett forced tortued her into telling us the truth. She's dead now, Jace cut off her head. Damien and Flenna left the group because of that."

While Jace, Kyle, and Pete search for Sharkutt, me and Seven continue hugging. I cry into her shoulder, soaking her shirt. My father, mother, and sister are now dead. Now I have no one to love, but my housemates.

"Alan, I promise you, things are going to get better," Seven says to me, pulling away."Mack has contacted half of the Shiners in the Shiner Dimension. Millions of Shiners are coming to Earth. Anthony's father is teleporting them all here."

"So this means that Sharkutt's army of Nitaves are finally going to be destroyed?" I ask her. She nods."That's great."

"We couldn't find him." Jace informs me and Seven, arriving back into the room with Pete and Kyle.

"He'll get what's coming to him," I say. I glance at Josh, who is now dead."Let's just go home."
