Chapter 77:Home Invasion

Simon-

I can't sleep. The battle is the only thing that I can think about. Many of us will die tomorrow, I know that. I'm not one of the powerful members of the team. My only power is the ability to breathe underwater, which isn't impressive unless I have to stay underwater for a long time.

"I'm going for a swim." I say to myself. I change into swimming trunks and strip out of my shirt. Then I head to the indoor pool, which is near the indoor gymnasium. When I enter the large room containing the pool, I see Reina in a bikini and Jameson talking to her.

"Hey guys." I tell them. They simply wave as I dive into the pool. I sink to the bottom and sit there, angry and frustrated. I have a crush on Reina and she's talking to Jameson. Jealousy gets the better of me, so I swim towards Jameson's feet.

I grab his ankles and break them. Then I do the same to his legs, then his arms. Reina screams and reaches for my exposed head. She punches me in the jaw, enraging me. Suddenly she's blown away by an invisible force and collides with the wall, she's motionless when she hits the ground.

Jameson is sinking to the bottom of the pool, which brings pleasure to me. I grab him and drag him away, where I take him to the gym. I grab a metal bat and slam it into his broken legs. Before he can scream, I bring the bat into his head.

His blood spews all over my exposed upper half. I resume to blungeon him to death, then I rear back the bat and plunge it into his chest. His already dead body collapses on the ground. I hear heavy footsteps thundering towards the room, that's when I know that I'm going to be in major trouble.

Jace and Arkeal enter the room, pajamas still on their bodies. Their eyes widen we they catch sight of the dead body. They easily figure out I murdered someone, it's very obvious. Arkeal lunges at me and begins choking me.

Jace takes the bloody bat and moves behind me. He swings it into my muscular, broad back, causing me to scream. He's about to swing again, but the double doors open and three figures charge in-Mack, Wershot, and Shinger.

Wershot and Shinger are the two original Nitaves who decided to ally with us. I send a telekinetic blast at Wershot. He easily deflects it back at me. The blast knocks me into Jace and we get tossed away.

"What is going on!" Mack yells, furiously. It could just be exhaustion or frustration, but I charge at Mack. He hesitantly raises his palms at me. I scream as the laser blast speeds towards me.

Harry-

I'm awakened by a loud scream. I swiftly exit my bed and charge outside my bedroom. I see Seven poking her head from her bedroom.

"Did you hear that?" I ask her. She nods and we head downstairs. It takes us awhile to get to the pool, where we think the screaming came from.

I gasp at the sight of Reina's motionless body. Me and Seven rush over, then I check Reina's pulse. I don't feel anything, she's dead. I look at Seven.

"She's dead." I tell her.

"Let's find out what happened." She tells me. I follow her outside where we find Mack leaving the gym, tears escaping from his eyes.

"What's wrong?" I ask him.

"I blasted him apart, he tried to kill me," Mack explains."We think he killed Jameson and Reina."

That's when Gordon, who sleeps in the surveillance room, charges into the corridor.

"The Nitaves are here." He screams in horror. That's when a window shatters to pieces and a canister slides into the hall. A gas is released and quickly disperses. The gas reaches my nostrils and I inhale it, causing me to pass out.
