Chapter 37:Wisconsin Battlefield

Lucy-

The location of my Gift is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Four piloted a Nitave spaceship to get us there, effectively getting to our destination within an hour. Four decided to not use any Magic, when I asked him why, he said that his Wand needed to charge.

The house is unoccupied when we arrive. My Gift should be in the backyard, the Gift Giver is also most likely in the backyard-peacefully asleep in his tiny home-his metallic chamber underground, directly below the container my Gift is in.

The sky is cloudless, with the moon shining it's wonderful rays upon us.

"Let's go." Four says, taking his first steps towards the backyard.

We follow Four to the backyard. The metal box lays in a crater, rested on top of The Gift Giver's home. I eagerly sprint to the box, my present's in there and I'm going to get it. Then the ground in front of me is plucked out as the blast from a Nitave blaster strikes it, nearly hitting me.

"They're here!" Four yells, pointing to hundreds of Nitaves surrounding the house.

Jace multiplies until there are six of him. Then he and his clones rush into battle. Harry morphs his stick into it's scythe form, Four produces a shadow shard in both hands, and Austin transforms his hands into a dragon's.

I wish I had my blue dart with me, it's powerful when used against any enemy. The boys are fighting valiantly while I'm doing nothing, I want to help them. I clench my fists and I'm about to charge into the fray, when two Nitaves confront me.

"Awww, she wants to fight." One of the Nitaves coo, trailing her finger lightly against her dagger.

I'm not prepared to fight two armed Nitaves. My only power is Telekinesis, and it's rusty from lack of use.

One of the Nitaves kicks my gut, causing me to fall to the ground.

"One down, four more to go." She says, raising her dagger high above her head.
