Chapter 45:Problem With The Nitave

Four-

Recently Jace has been a problem. Everyday he stares at Asott, not in a good way, either-he stares at Asott as if he's a meal, he wants to kill him.

I lived in this house for awhile now, almost everyone here has became friends with each other, with the exception of Asott and Jace.

I glance at the clock-7:45A.M. Jace is supposed to arrive with pizza, we're all hungry because everyone has become too lazy to buy more food.

"I'm back!" Jace announces, closing the front doors of the house as he enters the foyer. Mary reaches the food first, since she's the fastest runner, followed by London and Lexi. Seeing Lexi brings back plenty memories-I remember how she told us she was a Shiner who could change ages, she's really fifteen years old. That's the form she's in now, her natural age of fifteen.

Lexi is also pretty. I would date her if I had the time. Mary is also cute, but like I said before-I don't have time for dating, instead I have to focus on the war.

"What the hell, man?!" Asott viciously yells to Jace."Let me get a pizza!"

Jace shoves him Asott away, causing Asott to punch his jaw. Jace swiftly places the pizza boxes on the coffee table and grabs Asott's neck. Haydley screams and no one interferes, we're all friends with Asott, but Jace is too tough. If you mess with Jace, you'll most likely end up with a broken limb.

Asott is now dangling in the air, his body hovering above the ground-Jace's right hand wrapping around his neck. I'm not sure if Jace will actually kill Asott, but we can't risk it. We need Asott, he has vast knowledge of the Nitaves and their weapons.

I whip out my wand and cast a spell. A large white hand materializes, pries Jace's fingers from Asott's neck, then disappears.

"Using your fancy Magic, huh Four?" Jace tells me, menacingly."How about we fight the old-fashioned Human way?"

Jace clenches his fists and puts them in a boxer's stance. He's about to punch me in the face when Mack and Samuel appear. Jace quickly stuffs his hands into his pajama pants and walks away like nothing happened.

Mary and Haydley are helping Asott to his feet. Mack knows something's wrong, knowing Jace did this-he orders him to meet him outside.

Now Jace is going to get another lecture.

It's moments like these that I cherish.

That night, Jace isn't allowed dinner and everyone's happy. Of course Jace is just going to go to the refrigerator later, but that doesn't matter-what matters is that everything is okay and we're not in a dangerous battle with Nitaves.

If only it can stay this way.
