Next Day

I woke up feeling dandy.

I found myself scoffing at my statement. That was an utter lie. I'm still petrified with what I'm surrounded with.

I sighed, looking around my room. Gradually, I got myself ready for the day ahead of me. After getting ready, I headed downstairs and made myself some lunch to have at the academy.

After breakfast, which literally consisted of one banana, I got ready to leave. Once I opened the door, I was taken back at the view.

On my front garden stood three people. Katherine, Candice and Cameron. Katherine and Candice stood behind Cameron and pretty much gawked at him.

What is Cameron doing here?

He left yesterday within a flash as soon as he said sorry. However, that's not the point. He has never come to college with us. I could literally feel my mouth drop.

"I'd appreciate it if you two would stop staring

"I'd appreciate it if you two would stop staring." Cameron said as he turned to look at the two girls.

Their faces blushed pink almost instantly and they both looked down.

"Morning, Yasmin." Cameron greeted in monotone.

"M-morning." I greeted back with an awkward smile, as I shut the door to my house.

"Can I get a ride with you?" He asked as I made my way to my car.

"Y-yeah. Sure."

Why did I just say yes?! The girls are going to kill me, but I couldn't force out a no!

As I got in the car and buckled myself in, I looked to my right to see Cameron. I turned to the back and glared at Katherine. She usually sits in the front. I'd be more comfortable with her next to me.

I looked back at Cameron with a small smile and turned back to the front. I turned the engine on and began to drive to school. The ride started off silent until Candice broke it.

"So... Cameron. How's life treating you?"

"Urm, okay I guess." He responded with a look of confusion towards my way.

"Pfft." I head Katherine scoff.

I looked at my rear mirror to glare at her for her rude attitude. However, when I looked into my rear mirror, my eyes turned red which caused me to jump a little and lose focus of the road.
