Yasmin's P.O.V

Vision

"You know what this has all been leading to?" My Father asked me.

"No. Because you've done nothing but repeat the same damn riddle!"

"Okay. Here's a new one." Father smirked.

"No!" I cried in frustration.

"A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first room is filled with raging fires. The second is filled with hungry Vampires. And the third is filled with lions who haven't eaten in years. Which room is the safest."

"I don't know! Stop this. Please!" I continued to cry.

He kept going on and on with these stupid riddles. How am I suppose to know the answers? I don't do riddles!

"It's the third room. Because the lions died of starvation." He revealed.

"Something which I plan on doing to you, canim. So I'm going to tell you one last time. Tell me what you saw in your vision."

AN - Canim = Darling

"Vampires don't die of starvation. They become weak." I spat

"Fine." He said, before speeding towards me, and plunging his hand into my chest.

"Then I will rip your heart out, sweetheart." He said, squeezing my heart.

"Dad! Dad! Please. I beg of you. Stop!" I cried hard.

"What has happened to you, Dad?" I asked through the tears.

"I gained power, sweetheart."

End of Vision

I gasped, dropping the glass cup that was in my hands. I watched in shock as the glass shattered.

"Holy shit." I gasped.

"Yasmin?!" I heard my Mum yell.

She came into the kitchen, and looked at the floor, where I had dropped the glass.

"What happened?" She asked.

"N-nothing." I stuttered.

"You saw a vision, didn't you?"

She knew me fucking well enough then.

"You should've become a detective, Mum."

"Trust me. I know." She grinned, before quickly replacing it with a look of worry.

"What did you see, honey?" She asked.

"Mum. You still know that things aren't exactly good between us, right?"

"Yes. I know that." She responded.

"But I am your Mother. And I am going to be here for you." She said, repeating what I had said to her yesterday.

Letting out a small smile, I nod.

"I saw him. I saw Dad." I revealed.

She looked at me in confusion.
