Yasmin's P.O.V
Next Day
"What are you getting ready for?" Cameron asked, looking up and down my attire.
"Believe it or not. Caroline wants me to accompany her to the mall." I explained, as I faced my mirror, and brushed my hair.
"You and Caroline?" He asked, surprised.
"Yup." I say, popping the p.
"Wow. That's something new."
"I've gotta ask you something actually." He said, scratching his head.
"Shoot."
"Why did I find a Beretta in your top draw?" He asked, confused.
I was shocked at first. But that was soon replaced with a grin, once I thought of doing something.
"Which drawer?" I asked.
"The top one." He responded.
"I know that. But you haven't told me which one. Left or right?"
"Left." He immediately responded.
I was mentally cackling.
"So you were looking through my lingerie drawer."
His face then dropped, as he realised where I led this to.
"The Beretta was given to me from my Mum. And it's a licensed gun, making it legal." I say, grinning.
His face was bright red.
"Is someone embarrassed?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I don't like it when people embarrass me, Yasmin." He said with a serious tone.
"No. I figured." I grin.
His lips slowly formed into a grin, as I saw something flash in his eyes.
"You've got a little something there." He suddenly said, pointing towards my face.
You can never outsmart a joker. He certainly won't be able to outwork me either.
"Nice try, babe." I say, winking.
He let out a huff.
"I need to leave, as are you, I'm guessing." Cameron said, with a raised eyebrow.
I nodded in response.
"Promise me you'll be careful." Cameron said, as he neared me.
Jokes aside, I looked into his eyes, to see a mixture of emotions. I could see that he was worried.
"I promise." I say with a nod.
He let out a smile, as he leaned in to peck my lips.
"I like your navy lace set, by the way." He murmured against my lips.
