"I never feared the dark, until I had become a part of it."

I couldn't see anything. It was just pitch black.

"Oh god." I shakily spoke.

I turned my head to the side.

Nothing.

I patted myself down, and felt a material that was a mixture of silk and lace. I can tell what I was wearing. It was a dress. I never wear them, unless it's for special occasions.

Suddenly, I felt stuffy, and I found it harder to breathe.

Claustrophobia suffocated me.

Instantly, I begun to feel my surroundings. I was closed in on something. It felt too heavy to push, as if something was barricading me. My scent however had alarmed me. I could smell the dampness of the earth.

My mind was telling me something so frightening.

'You're in a coffin.'

Panic filled within me instantly. I begun to bang on the lid that laid above me. The claustrophobia I felt begun to suffocate me even more.

I screamed as loud as I could.

"HELP!"

I've given up. My breathing became heavier.

"Yasmin, you must get yourself out, now!" I heard a voice. It was too familiar.

"Relax, Yasmin. Just relax." I said, sighing.

"Get out of there!"

"How for gods sake?!"

"Push. Push and do not stop."

Push, Yasmin. Just push!

And that's what I did. I pushed with all the strength I had. Pound after pound, I had managed to push my fists through the wooden lid.

I felt the splinters land onto my face

I felt the splinters land onto my face. I shook my face vigorously. I felt the damp air hit strongly against my face. It was cold and dark. The only light that shone through was the light from the full moon.

I looked at my surroundings again. I was in a white, satin, short nightgown, with a Victorian styled, white, laced robe. Almost too gorgeous.

Drop dead gorgeous.
