Katherine's P.O.V

I sighed as I entered my room. Somehow, I had found myself in Theo's car. I found myself struggling to get into the bloodsucker's car. By the time I had arrived home, Mum was fast asleep. If she saw me in my current state, she'd know something is wrong immediately.

I took my jewellery off, and placed them on my desk. Then something caught my attention. That damn book. I still don't understand why it was given to me. For what purpose? I gazed at the book lying flat on my desk. Curiosity got to the better of me, causing me to reach out for the book. I have only read four lines, and after reading them four lines, I was creeped out instantly.

I sat on my bed, and sighed. Turning to the second page, I read the first paragraph;

Once the full moon is at its peak in the sky, whoever is unlucky enough to fall under the werewolf curse will turn into a beast; the wolf. If it were a choice, it wouldn't be called a curse. However, after centuries of rivalry, werewolves have become hard - wired to hunt their main prey; vampires.

I felt cold shudders run down my spine as I read the second paragraph.

Werewolves are now near-extinct supernatural beings. They unwillingly transform into large, fearsome, and extremely aggressive wolves on the night of the full moon. Even in their human form, werewolves possess super natural physical abilities, though they are not to the same extent as a vampires. These creatures are the most dangerous enemies of vampires. Their venomous bite is lethal to all vampires. It only results in a long, searing, painful death.

Werewolves are a myth. Unless, this book suggests otherwise?

"What is it with this book?" I found myself asking.

"What book?" I heard a voice behind me, causing me to jump.

I turned to be faced with Mum.

Why is she up?

I thought she was still asleep.

"Oh. It's just a book from the Harry Potter collection. Something didn't make sense." I lied.

"Do you still read them books?" She asked, sounding merely surprised.

"Yes. It's my favourite collection, ma." I responded.

"Hmm. Did you have a good time?" She asked.

"I did." I nodded.

"That's good." She said before yawning.

"Goodnight sweetie."

"Goodnight Mum." I sighed.

Next Day

Yasmin's P.O.V

"Oh, Celeste." I sighed sadly.

My head is still pounding from what happened last night. She didn't deserve to die at the hands of a user, a traitor, a manipulative liar.

"Fucking Mehmet." I angrily muttered.

That bastard is the reason my head is all over the place. That cun- no. I mustn't use that word.
