"Today marks our six month stay here." Katherine announced to both Candice and I.

"Six months of bullshit." I remarked.

"Including Cameron?" Katherine cocked an eyebrow.

That backfired.

"Obviously not Cameron." I muttered, only to receive a small orchestra of chuckles.

"You know, it's getting late. I need to get going." I said, as I stood up.

"Don't leave just yet." Katherine whined, obviously not wanting me to leave her house.

"I need to be back by eight." I said.

"Says who?" Candice cut in.

"Says the protective Mother." I responded, referring to my Mum.

"I've got to follow the curfew, girls." I sighed.

"Be careful though." Katherine said, as I slipped my shoes on.

Candice nodded, agreeing with Katherine.

"Text us when you're home." Katherine instructed.

"Will do. Adios." I said, leaving her house.

I had decided to walk to Katherine's, rather than drive. She only lived two streets away from mine. It was less than a three minute walk.

I took regular paces, as I walked in the cold night. The air smelt fresh, and felt chilling enough to potentially snow.

As I neared my street, I heard a scream. It was loud enough to hear from three streets behind. Immediately, I covered my ears. Once the scream faded, I neared towards it's direction. I came across an alleyway. I peeped over, to get a clear vision of the alleyway. Scattered along the alleyway were lamp posts. Under one lamp post, were two figures - two females. And I immediately figured out what was happening.

I watched as the vampire drained the innocent girl. My heart clenched, and I wanted to step in and help. I continued to watch, and the urge to stop her was heightening. Once my foot was about to take a step forward, a hand clasped across my face, over my mouth. I was pulled back, and let out a muffled scream. My back hit into somebody's chest.

"It's me, Theo." He whispered into my ear.

I immediately calmed down. He removed his hand from my mouth.

"Who the hell is that?!" I whisper-shouted.

"I don't know. I can hear Cameron talking to her." He responded.

"Cameron?" I said, confused.

"What the hell is he doing here?!"

"He'd say the same thing about you, Yas." Theo shot back.

I let out a huff, before I tried to eavesdrop in to the conversation. All I could hear was muffling.

"What are they saying?" I asked, looking back at Theo.

"Her name is Victoria."
