Christmas Day

Yasmin's P.O.V

"It's Christmas time, and there's no need to be afraid. At Christmas time, we let in light and banish shade. And in our world of plenty, we can spread a smile of joy." Candice sung, holding the microphone close to her lips.

"Throw your arms around, at Christmas time." I murmured, hating every single moment of this.

Candice had begged me to sing with her. After all, she likes Christmas, and I don't.

"But say a prayer, and pray for the other ones. At Christmas time, it's hard, but while you're having fun. There's a world outside your window, and it's a world of dread and fear. Where a kiss of love can kill you, and there's death in every tear." Everyone sung together.

Cameron had compelled her to forget everything that happen. But I can't help but wonder whether or not it actually worked.

After sighing at the sight of her, I unlock my phone, to find a missed call from Cameron.

Y - I missed a call from you. You alright?

I looked to see that he had read the message, but was taking his time to respond.

C - Baby, I was just wondering whether you're okay

C - Baby, I was just wondering whether you're okay.

I smiled, but realised he wasn't here in person to see it.

Y - I'm fine, Cam. You won't believe what I've just done!

C - Ha! What?!

Y - Bloody Katherine has a karaoke machine, and Candice begged me to sing a Christmas song with her...

C - And did you?

Y - Unfortunately, yes -_-

C - Damn. I wish I could see that!

Y - I mumbled for the majority of the song.

C - You could always use your mouth for something else...
