"You wanted to know about your family history. Here you go." Mum said, slapping a yellow folder onto my desk.

Since revealing everything, we fell out, which didn't surprise me. She asked whether I would side with her. I never responded.

I watched as she walked back out of my room, slamming the door throughout the process. Whilst looking at the folder that was now in front of me, I let out a sigh, and pushed it away.

My mind was else where. I wanted to sleep. But before I could, I felt the urge to talk to Cameron. I missed his voice.

Before I could reach out to my phone, I heard a familiar knock on my bedroom window.

Immediately, I got up, and headed towards the window. I pulled my curtains across, and saw Cameron.

Once I opened the window, I moved to the side, to let him in. He then turned to shut the window, and pulled the curtains.

"Hey." He greeted breathlessly.

"Hey." I greeted back.

"Any luck with the list?" I asked.

His face dropped, only to cause me to worry.

"That's all we ever seem to be taking about recently." He sighed.

I nodded, understanding where he was coming from.

"Can we forget about that list, just for tonight." He said, as he neared me, and grabbed hold of my hands.

"Yeah. Of course." I nod.

"You look tired." He said, as he rubbed small circles on the backs of my hand.

"I am." I admitted.

"You want some sleep?" He asked.

In response, I nodded.

Slowly, he dragged me towards my bed. Both of us laid down on my bed, whilst he covered us with my duvet. Immediately, he pulled me towards him. Both of our noses brushed, as we looked into each other's eyes.

I let out a smile. He smiled back, before pecking me on the lips.

"What is it?" He murmured.

His breath fanned my lips, which caused a sudden spark to ignite in my stomach. My eyes trailed down to his plump lips.

His smile then widened.

"What?" I asked.

"Stop thinking about my plump lips." He responded.

"Shut up." I whispered.

He let out a throaty chuckle.

"I'm so damn lucky to have you." He murmured against my lips.

"So am I." I murmured back, before confidently placing my lips on his.

"Go to sleep." He whispered, once he pulled away.

"You can get through this." I said, as I looked at myself through my rear mirror.

"You are brave. You are fierce. You are the unstoppable." I found myself cringing straight after I let them words roll out from my tongue.

"That's too much." I continued to cringe.

I then sorted the front of my hair, and approved of my look. Before turning the engine on, I heard a voice from behind.
