Next Day
It's another weekend of boredom. All I do is revise and take notes. I could do with finding myself a job to get myself out of this situation.
Currently I was flicking through my Maths revision book. All of a sudden, a gust of wind past through where I was sitting. Shutting my book, I turned my head to the side to see Cameron leaning against the wall.
"If I recall correctly, you have the whole house to yourself for two weeks?" Cameron begun the conversation with a sly grin.
"Yes indeed." I confirmed.
"Good." He smiled.
"What do you planning on doing with a house all to yourself?" He asked.
"I shall relax, eat, revise and sleep." I answered.
"You're so boring." He exclaimed.
"I don't care." I responded
"Do something, woman!"
"What is there to do here, Cameron?" I questioned him.
"Okay. I agree that there is nothing to do here. I'm having the guys over later. I want you to come." He responded.
He wants me to come to his, where all of his friends will be?
I think he's mistaken for ear aching torture. Boys are boys.
"I don't want to disturb your 'gathering'."
"You won't disturb anything. Anyways, I'm not asking you. I'm telling you." He said with a stern tone.
"Damn. Okay, Daddy." I coed with my hands up in surrender.
"Don't call me that. Especially when you're wearing shorts. It doesn't... ease anything." His voice was deep.
Noted.
Using the term Daddy wasn't such a good idea.
"Shut up." I murmured as I stood up from the sofa.
I could feel my cheeks burning. Ignoring his glare and my thoughts, I walked passed him and headed for the stairs. I could feel his eyes on me the whole time. I opened my bedroom door and as I took my first step into my room, I turned so I was blocking the doorway.
"When do you want me to be there?" I asked.
"Five o'clock to be precise." He informed me in a British accent.
After giving him a weirded out look, I responded.
"Okay. I'll see you at five."
With a wide grin, I shut the door on his face.
"That was rude!" He yelled from the other side of the door.
"I don't care!" I yelled back.
*****
I stood outside Cameron's and let out a shaky breath. I pray to God that I won't be the only girl in there. If so, I won't feel comfortable at all.
Gaining all the courage I could, I knocked on the door. Seconds later, the door opened, revealing a woman.
She smiles brightly immediately.
"Hi! Yasmin, right?" She greeted.
"Hi. And yes. That's right." I smiled in return.
"I've heard a lot about you. My son won't stop with the constant compliments." She laughed.
I also laughed, but it came out like a nervous laugh.
