"NO!" I screamed at the woman who stood beneath me.
"Please, your Highness. I beg of you! My son will die if he doesn't drink something!" She begged and cried.
Eleanore De Luca.
De Luca...
One of the many families I despise of. She's much older than me. 256 years older. She had been trying for a child for two centuries. She was lucky enough to give birth to a son 30 years ago.
Alesso De Luca.
I've had him in my cells for the past 10 years. He's taken his looks from his very handsome father. As well as being handsome, he's also a traitor. The bastard tried to kill me, his Queen, by poisoning me with vervain.
"Well who's fault is that, huh?" I spat.
Little does she know, her son would rather die.
"My Queen. I beg of you. Please feed him, and I shall do anything to return the favour." She begged again.
"You would do anything, would you?" I questioned.
She nodded.
I know she wouldn't. She'd escape with her son, whilst she has the chance. I don't give chances. That shows weakness.
"Very well then." I smirked.
"Where is he?" I asked one of my guards.
"Behind the doors, your Highness." Valentino informed, who was guarding the doors.
"Bring him in." I said.
He nodded, and pulled the door wide open. There stood her son. His tanned skin was now paler. He had lost weight on his face, making him look almost anorexic. Next to him stood a guard. He dragged him into the room, and forced him to get down on his knees.
"What do you want." He spat.
"Watch that attitude of yours, otherwise I'll torture you myself." I threatened.
He kept silent.
"Your Mother here wants you to feed." I announced.
"Tell her what you told me." I said, smirking.
"She knows." He muttered.
"So why is she here, in my property, begging for her traitorous child to feed?"
"That's what Mother's do. You'd know that if your Mother was around."
His Mother gasped.
Impressive indeed. He has the guts to challenge me.
His death will certainly be a painful one.
As I slowly stood up, I made my way down the short marble stairs, and stood in front of him.
"Get up." I demanded.
Slowly he stood up, his legs shaking due to painful aches he was suffering with.
"You need colour to your cheeks." I said pinching his cheeks.
I turned to reach for the cup of blood in one of my guards' hands.
"I don't want it." He protested as he tried to run.
