Dallas wasn't the type to get all soft and romantic with most of the girls he dated. Hell, I might be the first!

He was a real sweet guy actually and he even bought me roses and chocolate sometimes.

We went to the movies just yesterday and we cuddled and ate popcorn together and shared the same drink.

And we usually would half a burger and share a milkshake and fries when we went to the dingo.

"I love you, Dallas." I said with a soft voice and smiled as he tried not to smile at my words.

"You're too cute, Mel." He stated.

Mel was short for Melody.

I remember the first time I met Dallas. We were both very little. His parents were good friends with mine. And I'm a Curtis.

Older than Pony, but no older than Soda.

People thought it was a bit weird when me and Dallas started dating, but, we faced the odds.

All that mattered was that we loved each other and we had an unbreakable bond. And even if that was broken, we swore to always be good friends.

As days went by, we remained so in love and we did everything together. A lot of those things we did alone but we didn't forget about the gang. And of course, my brothers.

Darry, Soda, and Pony were all very happy that I was happy. And that's all they wanted me to be.

When mom and dad had died, I was unable to fix. Completely broken.

But I had my brothers and the gang, especially Dallas to help me through it.

And I've been happy and loving life ever since that tragedy.

I don't remember much since I had fell asleep on Dallas while watching the movie.

After all, we had already watched another movie before that.

It was clear that he was the one who laid me in bed since he was right there next to me. Only we were at Buck's.

And I remember waking up that morning, barely dozing until his actions brought me out of my doze. He was brushing his hands through my brown and partly blonde hair as I lay there.

Then he kissed me and started to smile as he pulled away.

"I'll make breakfast, Princess." He said as he got out of bed and headed out of the room.

From that moment on I knew he was the one, but I've always known this.

He promised me forever. And it happened.
