Chapter 38

When we pull up to the house I notice Luke's car in the driveway which means they are home. I wonder what they said to Logan and what Logan told them. I wonder if Logan told him about Daniel and I... Even though I thought I knew Logan so well, I don't know anything about him. He has changed so much these past few months. Six months ago he wouldn't have been trying to get me drunk and break up my boyfriend and I. He was trustworthy and loyal, and now he is the complete opposite. I guess his true colours have shown..  I don't even know him anymore. My family is right. Logan is trouble I need to stay away from him. I am scared if I don't something bad will happen. I don't have a good feeling about him anymore.

I follow my mother inside the house and Jai is sitting in the front room when we enter.

"Hi" he softly speaks.

"Hi", I mumble back.

"Has Beau come home yet?", my mother asks Jai.

He shakes his head as he rises to his feet.

"Okay well I am going to take a quick shower and then I will start with dinner", she smiles before walking into her bathroom.

"Where's Luke", I question.

"Sleeping.... He-", he pauses clearing his throat.

"He was tired when we came home".

"What did you do to Logan", my voice is shaky. For some reason l don't want to hear his answer.

"Nothing... Well... I would be lying if I told you I didn't touch him. But the worse he has is a bloody lip".

"Oh". I don't know how I feel about them going over to Logan's house. My mind is so jumbled and I am so tired. I am so used of people telling me how I should feel and now I don't know how to feel.

"You know... When we were over he told us something... Ermm... Something pretty interesting", he stutters. I look over to Jai. He looks very nervous as he chews on his bottom lip.

"What is that?", I raise an eyebrow.

Jai rubs the back of his neck.

"Erm.. Never mind it isn't important".

"Tell me".

"It's nothing don't worry about it.. It was stupid anyways", he brushes it off but I am curious to what it is. I hope it has nothing to do with Daniel.  

"If it is anything to do with Logan and I hooking up it isn't true", I tell him, which is not completely true. I did kiss him but no tongue was involved and it was not long.

"Yea I know. I would never believe anything he tells me. I trust you Anna. I know you would never do something that stupid", he smiles.

I nod faking a smile.

Oh Jai if only you knew the truth about everything, your whole mind frame would change about me.

"Well I am going to go check on Luke and maybe take a nap myself before dinner. You should rest too".

I nod as we both walk to our rooms. I decide to talk a hot shower instead. I feel so gross after being in a hospital. I hate that place. As sanitary as it is suppose to be I still feel dirty there. I grab a pair of black leggings and a long sleeve base ball shirt which I stole from Luke's wardrobe. I need to stop taking his things. I wish I would wear Daniel's sweatshirts and t-shirts. I have only wore his t-shirt twice before. The night he spent at my house and the time when he soaked my t-shirt.   I find it funny how girls can wear guys clothing and look normal but a guy can't borrow girls clothing. I walk over into my bathroom and peel off my clothes before stepping into the shower. The warm water relaxes my tight muscles calming me. I close my eyes as the warm water pours down on me. The amount of stress I have been having has been too much to handle. At least one of the main causes to my stress is out of my life; Logan. Maybe that Logan is out of the picture things with Daniel and I will get better.
