Chapter 47

Daniel's POV

"So she told us...", Jai speaks slowly as he looks up from his phone.

I sit silent waiting for him to further explain however I can feel my pulse beginning to quicken in my chest.

"She told us that she is seeing someone", he says referring to Anna.

"The problem is she wouldn't tell us who she is seeing", Luke groans.
I look over at Beau who has his arms folded into his chest. He looks deep into thought as his teeth tug on his bottom lip. He sits in the chair at the twins desk swinging from left to right. He lifts his finger to his mouth biting in his thumb nail.

"What about Logan?", James questions and his eyes flicker to mine.

"No it isn't him... But can you believe she was fucking texting him last night".

My eyes widen as I sit up in my chair.
What. Anna was texting Logan?! I want to question him further but I can't make it obvious that I want to know why. Why is Anna talking to Logan when she told me she was done with him. Fuck this girl man doesn't understand that Logan causes too much trouble and every time he is around something bad happens. Why can't she just drop him already.

"He was texting her asking for her forgiveness but she isn't giving it to him thank goodness. For once she is listening to us".

I can't believe she would even answer his text message. Why would he even text her in the first place. How many times do Beau and the twins have to go after him for him to learn his lesson. I have even beaten him up once or twice. He obviously doesn't get the point. I can't believe she didn't even tell me he texted her. I want to get up and go into Anna's room to go talk to her but I can't.

"I can't believe she has been seeing someone and hasn't told us", Beau speaks through his teeth. I glance over at him and sigh deeply.

"How long has she been seeing this nameless cunt? How long has he had his hands on her?", his words come out lower than a whisper but his tone is full of anger. My body tenses up in my chair at his tone of voice. He seems like relax but so pissed off at the same time.

"I don't understand why she won't just fucking tells us already", Luke sighs. I take a deep breath before bitting on the inside of my cheek.

"Didn't she say it is your fault?", James says.

"What the fuck did you just say James?" Beau snaps.

"She said it is your fault why she is keeping it a secret. If you guys stopped harassing her for a minute maybe she would feel comfortable to tell you the truth".

Luke rises to his feet, and I feel a lump in my throat begin to rise.

"We are open to Anna. She should be open to us. She shouldn't be keeping this a secret".

"Why does it matter anyways", James says looking to me.

"Does it really matter who she is dating? What difference does it make? Are you honestly going to beat up someone for no reason?".

"There is reason behind it", Beau snaps.

"No there isn't! When she tells you there is no reason for you to go after him? For fuck sakes Beau you are going to hurt someone for loving you sister? She isn't commuting a crime! She is seeing someone she obviously cares about and makes we happy so I don't understand your logic here? How will she ever find love with you being such a dick!". Beau sits up in his chair. Jai hold Beau back in his chair.

"Chill Beau", he whispers.

"Is there sometime you are trying to tell us?", Jai raises an eyebrow sitting up from his bed.

I sink down in my chair. I feel so comfortable right now. They are discussing who is dating their sister and in reality I am sitting right before their eyes. I want to leave. No I have to leave.

"You don't know anything about who she might be seeing do you?", Jai questions James.

James gulps nervously, "No, why would I?", he stutters.

"I don't know. I know Anna and you are pretty close".

James eyes widen, "Jai. Don't even go there I am not and repeat not dating your sister! I don't know who is either". My eyes flicker to James but he doesn't look at me. He is protecting me right now and I can't thank him enough but... I don't know how much longer I can have him lie for me.

Jai raises an eyebrow. "I never accused you of dating her".

"Cut the crap Jai I am not the one sleeping with your sister", he fires back.

"Then who is?", his hands fly up.

James' eyes meet mine. I take a deep breath before resting my head into my palms. I can't believe I am about to say this right now. I feel like my stomach is in my stomach at the moment. Breathe Daniel breathe. I look up and glance over at Beau.

"I am", my voice is shaking as I prepare for the war that is about to take place.
