Chapter 43

Beau's POV

"Hey how did it go?", I question as Jai and Anna walk through the door. I hate how Anna has been getting additional piercings but in the end it is her body and I don't have a say, even know I wish I did. Hopefully she stays away from ink. Anna pushes by me and walks into her room shutting the door behind her. She is still upset with me... If anything I should be upset with her. She is the one that came home covered in those marks giving me no explanation. I still do not understand who did it. Who could possibly have given them to her. In reality I think it is better if I don't know but it is killing me inside.

I sigh deeply glancing over at Jai, seeing the new addition of rings on his face. I swallow the lump in my throat before speaking.

"It looks good". It really does. It gives him a edgier look which he needs. Jai has that sweet little innocent looking face. He is too friendly sometimes which allows people to walk all over him. The new rings will help him in his favour.

"Yea I love them... Expect now Luke and I look even more alike because of our similar rings", he chuckles but I remain silent as I walk over into the family room and take a seat on the couch. I rest my head in my palms taking a deep breathe in.

"What's wrong?", Jai questions following behind me.

"Anna is still pissed at me. Like I am sorry if I love my sister and just want to keep her safe".

Jai takes a seat beside me. "Beau she is going to get over it. She always does".

"Jai you should have seen the fucking hickeys she had. You don't get that by just making out they were way too intense".

"What you think she-", he begins but I cut him off. The touch of a boy touching my sister makes my fist clench. I am way to fucking over protective.

"Don't even say it. I don't want to hear it". Who the fuck is she seeing?
"She has to have a secret boyfriend we don't know about. She has been acting all secretive for a while now".

I run my fingers through my hair, tugging at the roots. I don't get who she can be seeing. The options are limited. I look over at Jai who is staring at his feet.

"There is something I left out when Luke and I went to go talk to Logan about Anna".
My teeth clench at his words. He better not say anything about Anna seeing Logan.

"What?", I question as calmly as I can.

"He told us he was protecting her from some boyfriend of hers. I tried to discuss it with Luke but he got mad when I even tried to consider the fact".

I rise from the couch and begin to pace back and forth in our living room.

"Why didn't you tell me this? You have known that for this long and never told me!".

"Luke said he was trying to catch us off guard which he did.... But Luke didn't want to believe him because he said that if Anna had a boyfriend she would tell us".

If he said she has a boyfriend then there has to be some truth to it. We all know Logan has feelings toward Anna, so ratting out her boyfriend does make sense. Why would he say that if it wasn't true... I guess that takes Logan out of the picture. Who else could she be seeing then?

"There is something else you should know.... When we went to go get the piercings done with Anna, the guy working there asked Anna where her boyfriend was".

"Do you know who he was referring to".

"Daniel... But Anna said he thought they were dating because they went together, and he got the wrong message".

My eyes widen as I think back to yesterday's incident with Daniel.
"The scratches", I mumble in almost horror.

"What scratches", Jai questions rising to his feet as well.

"The scratches on Skip's back".
My stomach turns at my words.

"Please tell me you are not thinking what I think you are".

"If it is Anna and Daniel are dating then yes". It all makes sense now. Anna comes home with hickeys and the same day Daniel has scratches clearly from sex. How did I miss this? Once I put all the pieces together it fits. Oh shit. The puzzle pieces fit together. Anna and Daniel. I think I am going to be sick.

Jai bursts out into laugher. "Skip! Daniel Sahyounie. Are you sure we are talking about the same person! You think Anna is dating Daniel? That is the funniest thing I have ever heard", he continues to laugh at the top of his lungs. This isn't funny.

"It all makes sense. Anna comes home with hickeys and Skip had those sex scratches on his back the same day".

My mind freezes. "Anna and Skip h-had". I stutter. The though of Anna even kissing Daniel makes me feel sick to my stomach.

"Sex.", Jai says and I feel a lump rise in my throat. "You think Anna and Daniel had sex", he says and I cover my ears at his words.
Jai's mouth hangs open in shock.
"No! She wouldn't do that Anna and Daniel? Come on Beau they don't even talk!".

If they don't talk then why are they sleeping together.

I ignore Jai and walk over to the table in the hall and grab my keys. I then walk over to the front door and slip on my vans.

"Where are you going?".

"To have a little talk with Skip", I speak through my teeth.

"Beau no! You don't even know-".

Before Jai could finish his sentence I head out the door and drive over to Daniel's house.

Anyways.... Beau... I think he will do a little more than just talking!

Sorry if the chapter is a little short but I promise I will update tomorrow! The chapters might be a little space out next week because it is going to be a very stressful week but I will for sure update for Tuesday and Wednesday. Daniel's birthday is on Thursday! He is finally turning 19😢 the tears are real ahaha.
