A POEM FOR MOM

Nine months in your womb, you carried me
Eighteen years of sacrifices made for me
Since then you pour your care and love
Mom, you're the greatest gift I have

I'm never good enough for you
I'm not the best daughter, so true
But still, I know that in your heart
I'll always have a special part

When I am sick, sad, and in pain
When I am crying, feeling in vain
You're always there to stay with me
You're always ready to rescue me

Despite the craziness I possess
You still accept and treat me best
For every moodswings that I have
Mom, you just give understanding and love

For all the times I tell you things
You willingly lend me your ears
You laugh with me when I crack jokes
Mom, I adore you for all those talks

For all the heartaches that I had
For all the love that made me sad
For all the chill and sparks I feel
You gave support mom, you stood still

Mom, you inspire me all the time
You are the best partner in crime
In all the weakness, you're my strength
You are my guide in every step

I maybe not good to express
My love for you and all the rest
I hope this poem would made you feel
How much I love you mom, so real

Mom, I would just like you to know
I'm thankful that you made me grow
I'm glad that Lord made you my Mom
I am too blessed; compared to some

I owe my life to you and dad
Most of all to the Father, God
I appreciate my life through you
Indeed I'll make more mem'ries with you
