ME, MYSELF, AND THE ONE I LOVED

As I go through the distance,

With no one by my side;

Memories flood me in an instant,

From the day our worlds collide.

Blooming flowers that surround me,

Reminds of promises once made.

As the wind cradles me gently,

River of tears; I want to shed.

My hope is vanishing, little by little;

But, I'm too weak to ask for help.

Warmth of the mighty sun embraced me,

It's just my frozen heart won't melt.

The Endless pain lurking inside me,

Someday, I know it'll make me numb.

I am a prisoner of deep misery,

But, no hideous crime I've ever done.

I only loved with all my heart,

But why did fate treat me this way?

Our story had an awesome start,

In just one blink love's blown away.

I thought we'll end up with each other,

But then he left me on my own.

Those treasured dreams we made together,

Has lost its light; Now, faded glow.

I want to crumple all the pages,

Where the story of us was written.

The happiness turned into sadness,

Stop this fantasy; Be awaken!

It's really hard to say goodbye,

But I did let go of his hand.

Now, I will end this book of ours,

The story of me, myself, and the one I loved.
