"What the hell happened to you two?!" Henley exclaimed as Jack and I arrived back home.

"You're dripping all over the carpet." Merritt joined in.

I glanced at my wet clothes and turned to face Jack who was grinning cheekily. As soon as we made eye contact the two of us burst out laughing.

Merritt rolled his eyes at us, smiling slightly.

"Jack decided it would be a good idea to go for a dip." I eventually managed when I finally stopped laughing.

"Once you've both got changed we need to rehearse for tonights show." Daniel snapped.

As soon as I heard his voice, the smile instantly faded from my face. I hadn't even realised that he was in the room until he spoke. Why did he have to suck the joy out of everything?

"Oh by the way Jack, you have a visitor." Henley announced.

"Really?" Jack frowned.

"Yeah she's in the kitchen." Henley answered.

I watched Jack's retreating back as he walked into the kitchen.

"Amy!" I heard him exclaim.

"What are you doing here?!" he added.

"Just a fly in visit." I heard her reply.

My eyes snapped towards the kitchen as Jack returned, holding hands tightly with a beautiful dark haired girl.

"Guys, this is my baby sister Amy." he announced.

As soon as he said those words I felt a wave of relief.

"You've met the others, but this is Amelia." Jack stated, gesturing towards me.

"Hi, it's lovely to meet you." she smiled warmly.

"You too." I smiled back.

"You didn't tell me you have a girlfriend." she pouted, slapping Jack's arm playfully.

"She's not his girlfriend!" Daniel snapped, before Jack or myself had a chance to answer.

I turned to Daniel and glared at him angrily. He shrugged and quickly looked away, turning his attention back to his deck of cards.

"Oh sorry, so you and Daniel are dating?" Amy asked, sounding slightly awkward.

"Nope, definitely not." I replied quickly.

Daniel scoffed and quickly stood up.

"We need to rehearse." he said shortly.

"You can come along and watch us if you want?" Jack offered Amy.

"That would be amazing." she smiled.

"Okay I'd better change before Sergeant Major gets his panties in a twist." I said sarcastically, smirking at Daniel as I said it.

I could hear the others laughing as I quickly walked upstairs to change out of my wet clothes.

"So what do you do for a living?" Amy asked me as we sat watching the horseman rehearse.

"I'm a PA, you?" I replied.

"A doctor." she stated.

"Oh wow, that's awesome!" I exclaimed.

"It's definitely very rewarding." she smiled.

"Yeah I bet." I agreed.

"Okay Amelia, it's your turn." Merritt called me.

I sighed, rolled my eyes at Amy and quickly walked onto the stage.

"What am I actually meant to be doing?" I sighed, as I stood hovering awkwardly.

"So in this section, Daniel is going to create some bubbles." Jack explained.

Daniel nodded and I gasped as he quickly made large bubbles appear from between his hands. I gazed at them in wonder as they floated around the theatre.

"I'll make a larger one for you to float around in." Daniel told me.

"Yeah very funny." I snapped.

"No seriously." Daniel insisted.

Jack took me by the shoulders and gently guided me to where I needed to stand.

"Why don't you show her how it's done?" Merritt suggested to Henley.

Henley nodded and quickly stood in front of me. I watched closely as Daniel formed a bubble between his hands. Henley took a deep breath and ran towards the bubble that Daniel quickly formed around her. I watched in amazement as she floated around the room, moving her arms and legs gracefully. After a few moments she popped the bubble with her heel and quickly landed on her feet.

"That doesn't look too bad." I said quietly.

"The real trick will be much higher." Henley pointed out.

"What?" I whispered, the colour draining from my face.

"Once you get level with the chandelier, you need to pop the bubble." Jack explained.

"Are you guys trying to kill me or something?" I chuckled nervously when I saw how high the chandelier was.

"You'll be perfectly safe." Merritt reassured me.

"So what do I do once I've popped the bubble?" I asked them.

"Just leave that to us." Jack winked.

I sighed quietly and looked away from them.

"Trust us." Daniel said quietly. He watched as I nodded slowly, trust wasn't something that came easily to me.

"I don't really have a choice do I." I sighed.

My head snapped up as I saw a blonde haired girl walking towards us.

"I have your outfit." she announced. The dots joined in my head, she must be the horseman's stylist.

She grinned and held up a short black dress. My heart sunk, there was no way that I could wear a dress that short.

"I can't wear that." I said quickly.

"Nonsense you have an amazing figure." she complimented me.

"It's not my figure that's the issue, I'm not wearing a dress." I insisted.

I could feel Daniel frowning at me, wondering why I was being so difficult. Back when he knew me, I wore dresses all the time- proudly showing off my figure...but not anymore.

"Can I wear trousers?" I almost pleaded.

"I'll see what I can organise." she smiled at me.

"Thanks." I smiled back.

As I stood on the stage, all four of the horseman staring at me, I couldn't help but feel self conscious. It was like being a specimen under a microscope.

"I need a drink." I stated, quickly walking away.
