I frowned to myself as I watched Jack leave the room. His comment before he left the room didn't make any sense to me, did he know something that I didn't?

"So what are you doing here Graham?" I asked, deciding not to dwell on Jack's comment.

Graham looked away from me and glanced at Mum who couldn't seem to look me in the eye.

"What's going on?" I said quickly.

"Mum just tell him." Joanne said, rolling her eyes.

"Tell me what." I sighed.

"Mum and Graham are getting married." Joanne stated when Mum didn't answer.

I glanced between the two of them, not really sure what to say.

"I didn't even know the two of you were dating." I eventually managed.

Even though I had nothing against Graham, I couldn't help but feel slightly weird that my Mum was dating one of my teachers.

"We wanted to tell you in person." Mum piped up.

"It's your life, you can do what you want." I said shortly.

My head snapped round as I saw Mia walking slowly out of the bathroom. She walked across the room and perched on the edge of the sofa. As I watched her closely I couldn't help but notice how pale she was.

"What's wrong?" I asked worridly, as I sat next to her.

She shook her head slowly as she gazed at her lap. I sighed, gently placed my fingers under her chin and tilted her face so that she was looking at me. As I looked into her eyes I could see that her heart was breaking, clearly something had happened that I knew nothing about. I couldn't help but wonder if it had something to do with why she was so quiet this morning.

"What's....wrong...my....Mia?" I asked in between pecking her lips. Even though I knew that Mum, Graham and Joanne were watching and listening to us, I didn't care. Mia was always my priority and right now she needed me. I had to find a way to get her to let me in.

"It's okay, I just don't feel well." she whispered.

"Daniel, Joanne and I need to speak to you in private." Mum stated. I sighed and reluctantly teared my eyes away from Mia. Even though I didn't like the idea of leaving Mia alone when she was clearly upset about something...I knew that I had to do this and I'd only be gone for a few moments.

"I'll be just outside the room." I told her quietly.

She nodded slowly and continued staring at the ground. Even though I desperately wanted to know what was bothering her, I knew that now wasn't the time. I would speak to her in private after my family had left. As soon as we were outside the room and I'd closed the door Mum turned to me:

"I got it for you." she stated.

Amelia's POV

"I take it you didn't tell Daniel then." Graham chuckled as soon as they left the room.

"I'm not having this conversation with you." I snapped.

"Well if he knew he probably wouldn't have left you alone in here." he continued, completely ignoring me.

I shrugged and looked away from him.

"You look rather pale." he said condescendingly.

"Being with you is making me feel sick, you're a disgusting human being." I stated, surprising myself at how confident I suddenly felt.

"Maybe you're pregnant." he sneered.

"I'm not." I said quickly, my thoughts wandering to six years ago when I discovered that I was pregnant with his baby. I had no idea why but I suddenly felt an overwhelming urge to tell him. I wanted him to know what he'd done to me.

"I never told you that I was pregnant six years ago." I smirked, trying to hurt him, I wanted him to feel the same pain that I'd felt.

"Well you and Daniel should have been more careful." he said dismissively.

"The baby wasn't Daniel's." I sighed.

He glanced up from his magazine and frowned at me.

"I have a child?" he asked.

"No, I had an abortion." I admitted.

"Without talking to me about it?!" he exclaimed.

I scoffed and stared at him, completely speechless. He didn't seem to have any idea that his actions were completely wrong. He'd taken advantage of one of his students and now he thought he'd had the right to discuss the future of our child.

"You're deluded." I mumbled.

"How dare you make a decision like that without me, you selfish cow!" he shouted angrily. I flinched and watched as he stood up and crossed the room angrily. I stood up and backed away from him, yelping slightly as my back made contact with the wall. He smirked at me and grabbed a handful of my hair. My eyes began to water as he pulled my hair.

"You disgust me!" he spat.

"Let go of me." I demanded.

Graham smirked and placed his hand around my neck, applying pressure that made it difficult to breath. I tried to squirm away from him, but his grip was too tight. I closed my eyes for a moment, trying to pretend that this moment wasn't happening. I had no idea why Graham was pinning me against the wall or what he wanted from me. My eyes snapped open as an idea suddenly popped into my head:

"Danny!" I screamed, desperately hoping that he was still just outside the door and that he would hear me.

Graham jumped and instantly let go of me as the door opened loudly. I seized my opportunity and squeezed past Graham, running as fast as I could into the bathroom, sighing in relief as I locked the door behind myself. Finally I was safe...
