SPICY MEXICAN PLAIT

In a pan add oil, finely chopped onion, ginger and garlic. Saute till translucent. Add the ground beef and cook till brown and starts to lightly catch at the bottom of the pan. This is important to add to the flavour. Season with salt, black pepper, chilli flakes, cumin powder, Paprika and mustard paste. Mix well and add stock and simmer for 20 mins. The mixture shouldn't be too wet or too dry. It should be thick and slightly moist. Let cool

Lay out the pastry sheet on the work surface. Place the mixture in the centre vertically. Make slits on the sides all the way down. Start folding inwards to create a  braid tucking in the extra. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake till done, about 30 mins.
