This homemade natural acne mask. We’ve tried it on different acne types and different aged candidates, and we’ve seen very positive results! Let’s take a look at this natural acne mask and its powerful
This natural acne mask works really well, especially for stubborn acne and cysts because of its powerful ingredients: honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Let’s take a closer look as to why these ingredients are so beneficial to fight acne.
*Honey:* Because honey is naturally antibacterial, it’s an amazing ingredient to use for any acne mask. Acne is often caused by bacteria getting stuck underneath the skin, so honey gently cleanses and removes that bacteria by going underneath the skin. Honey is also moisturizing and anti-aging, so while it helps to get rid of acne, it will also help prevent wrinkles and fine lines.
*Cinnamon:* Cinnamon is a natural astringent, antiseptic, and anti-fungal, which basically means that it will help with drying out acne and pimples, by going underneath the surface and reducing bacteria. Cinnamon is also an amazing exfoliant and will leave your skin glowing.
*Nutmeg:* Nutmeg is an anti-inflammatory and is a great ingredient to use for rosecea and eczema as well as getting rid of acne scars and spots.*How To Make The Acne Mask*
*Ingredients.*
1 tsp honey
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
*Directions:*
1. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients together until they form a chocolate like paste.
2. The mixture may be a little bit sticky and runny due to the honey.
3. Apply all over your face and neck (cleansed face) and leave on for 15-30 minutes.
4. The first 15 minutes should feel tingly, and this is because the cinnamon and nutmeg are working together to penetrate deep into the pores and cleanse.
5. Remove the mask using a wet, soft washcloth and follow up with a moisturizer.
Use the mask twice a week for best results. Within the first use, you should notice a smoother surface, but keep using it on a regular basis to actually see results.
