Remus Lupin- Transformation (h)

Working at Hogwarts was definitely a new experience, sure that was where you spent the majority of your childhood but teaching was a whole new ball park.

You taught Y/S, whilst your husband had just started teaching DADA. Your husband was Remus Lupin, and you had met him whilst being at Hogwarts as a student.

Despite dating for however many years, and now being married, you had never seen Remus transform.

You understood that werewolves were not the same people after they had transformed, therefore Remus wouldn't recognise you and there was the chance of you getting attacked.

The topic of his transformation rarely came up, you didn't like to mention it very often as even though he loved you so much, you didn't know how he would react.

The full moon was going to be in a matter of days, so you had managed to work up the courage to ask Remus if you could at least help him with the transformation but you didn't have to be there.

You were reading in bed, whilst Remus had just gotten out of the shower "Remus?" you asked, in order to get his attention.

He finished putting his pyjama bottoms on before walking over to you, "Yes my love?" he asked in response, sitting down next to you on the bed.

You put your book down "Will you please let me help you through your transformation?" you pleaded, and your question caught your husband off guard.

"No" he said flatly "I can't- I won't" he stammered and you sighed.

"Remus, please. I just want to help you, I understand the background of werewolves and what happens to them" you explained and Remus looked at you with fear in his eyes, "I love you, and I want to help you – I will leave as soon as the transformation begins, I promise" you told him.

Remus didn't say anything, but instead he pulled you into his lap and wrapped his arms around you "Fine" he spoke only one word "Just once Y/N" he told you and you looked up at him, with a smile on your face.

"I cannot stand the fact that I am putting you in danger" he had fear laced within his tone, whilst he spoke to you "But I married a stubborn witch, and I understand that you're doing this because you love me" he explained, more to himself than you.

You looked up at him, and he smiled down at you "I love you Moony" you told him, using his old school nickname.

The use of his nickname only caused his smile to grow, "I love you more than words could ever explain Mrs Lupin"
