Remus Lupin- Time Of The Month (c)

It felt as though your uterus was being twisted and pulled apart. To be fair it wasn't far from what was actually occurring inside of you. Being a women had its perks, but having to go through this hellish experience every month wasn't something you would consider a perk not even something even tolerable.

You didn't want to spend the whole weekend cooped up in your dorm, clutching your stomach and close to tears. For the evening portion of today's hell brought to you by Mother Nature, you were curled up on one of the sofas in the Gryffindor common room. No one spoke to you about what was wrong as most people were doing their own thing, meaning you were alone on the sofa.

Remus, your boyfriend had been out for the whole day with his friends (whom deemed themselves the Marauders), they had invited you however due to you not feeling your best. He was hesitant to leave you after he saw your strained smile, but you insisted and spent the day doing your best to distract yourself.

A loud ruckus occurred as a group of boys walked in.

"Hey Y/N, you missed out today," James grinned as he approached you.

"Yeah you should have seen it-" Sirius began but Remus cut him off.

As soon as Remus saw the pain stricken expression on your face he began to usher the other two out of the room.

"I don't think she wants to hear about it mate. Tell her tomorrow, yeah?" He stated.

The two of them went to argue but went upstairs. Remus approached, crouching down and kissing your forehead.

"I'll be back in a second love," he smiled following his friends.

You nodded at him.

Waiting a couple of minutes he reappeared with a couple of objects in his hand. He handed you a bar of chocolate, gesturing you to budge up on your seat. You moved a little so that he could lay down next to you, draping his arm over your middle, throwing the blanket he brought down over you both.

"Thank you," you said softly resting your hand over the top of his that lay on your clothed stomach.

"You're welcome," he whispered kissing your hair.

"How did you know that chocolate and cuddles help?" You questioned taking a bite from the chocolate bar, then moving it so that he could take a bite from it too.

"Well they are things I always want after my time of the month," he laughed.
