It was difficult to actually trust the Marauders sometimes.

Half the time, they never knew what they were doing and even if they did, they would most likely be getting in trouble for it.

You had become a Marauder due to the fact that you were in a relationship with one of them.

A lot of people did question how you managed to put up with Sirius but he could be quite subdued if he wanted.

Sirius was most definitely known as the trouble maker, but he was James' right hand man and James could be just as much of a troublemaker if he so wished.

It had been quidditch practise that morning so you were sat out on the field whilst being bundled up in Sirius' jumper, your coat and Sirius' scarf that you had totally not stolen.

Remus was sat next to you, both with books to read as the others practised with the Gryffindor team.

"So how is everything going with Sirius?"

You turned to Remus, still holding your book open. "It's going well. He can be a bit over the top sometimes but that's something I love about him."

"You love him?"

At the realisation of what you had said, you smiled and nodded in confirmation.

Remus chuckled, pulling you in a gentle hug. "That's great Y/N."

You smiled as he hugged you before gently squeezing him causing him to laugh.

The clearing of a throat made the two of you break apart and turn the noise.

Sirius was stood there with his arms crossed. "Well you seem busy," he stated with annoyance in his town.

"Pads we were just hugging," Remus told him.

"A hug doesn't last minutes."

You rolled your eyes at your boyfriend. "Sirius don't be silly."

"I'm not being silly."

"You are Sirius, I hugged your friend which is not a big deal."

Sirius rolled his eyes and walked off, leaving James stood there looking confused and you and Remus still sat on the ground.

"Is this where I go after him?"

Both Remus and James nodded in agreement, making you sigh as you got up and grabbed your things before heading to the changing tent where you knew Sirius would be.

When you walked in, you saw him sat on one of the benches whilst fiddling with his gloves.

"Prongs I don't wan-" Sirius went to talk but cut himself off when he saw it was you stood there.

You dropped your bag at the front, walking over to Sirius afterwards and sitting down next to him.

"Go back to Remus."

You reached out to place your hand on his thigh. "Sirius, I'm dating you."

"I know that."

"Then why so annoyed that I was hugging Remus?"

"You and he have so much more in common than you and I do."

You shook your head, moving closer to your boyfriend and resting your head on his shoulder.

Without missing a beat, Sirius intertwined his fingers with yours and you felt the leather of his gloves rather than the skin contact.

You voice dropped to a whisper. "But I don't love Remus."

"And you don't love me."

Shaking your head again, you looked up at Sirius. "For once, you couldn't be more wrong Sirius Black."
