You had never been too interested informal dances or any form of parties, so when the yule ball was announced you hadn't any interest in going. However, your boyfriend, granted equally as uninterested, wished to go and made a large romantic gesture in asking you to go. You weren't one to make a fuss, so were more than happy to agree to that date even if it wasn't the most appealing prospect to you.

When the night finally came around you were uncomfortably in a fancy dress, after one of your roommates, Angelina, told you that it was unacceptable for you to go in jeans. George complimented you as soon as he saw you enter the room, before sweeping you away to dance.

Through discussion you knew that George didn't know how to dance very well, however you were by far much worse at the activity. You hadn't practiced as you were hoping that he'd bail last minute or that he would be equally as incapable at dancing so it didn't matter whether you looked a bit like a prat. It wasn't the case though. Granted he didn't know how to dance professionally but he could wing it relatively well that no one would be any wiser of the fact.

Every time you attempted to take a step you'd either trip on the hem of your dress or accidentally press your foot down onto his. You were apologetic of the fact that you were probably causing him a fair bit of pain but he seemed to find it fairly amusing.

Once again you stood onto his foot, before jumping back attempting to hide the fact that you were a walking disaster.

"I'm sorry," you sighed.

Your tone was exasperated, due to how frequently you had to repeat the phrase due to you falling over his feet all of the time.

"It's fine, you'll get the hang of it," he chuckled, readjusting his arms to hold you closer again.

"I'm trying to be graceful, it's not going too well though," you frowned.

"A bull in a china shop has more grace than you," he stated with a grin.

"Actually bulls are very agile and have a lot of grace," you smiled smugly with a matter of fact tone.

George's eyes rolled, no longer surprised by your random facts you would spurt out time him about useless crap.

"Of course you'd know something like that," he laughed. "Would you like me to attempt to teach you how to dance? I don't know how much help I can be as honestly I don't know what the hell I'm doing."

"I would love you to try to teach me. Either you end up helping me, or it will now be your own fault if I accidentally break your toes," you smiled innocently.

He continued to laugh softly as he leaned in to kiss you.

"I wouldn't have it any other way."
