You snuggled closer to the chest of the man whom was carrying you. Your arms were slung loosely around his neck, to make sure that you didn't fall from his arms.

You didn't enjoy all of the attention that you were getting, and you certainly didn't like being carried, not that you had a choice in the matter.

People liked to make it seem that a wedding was all about the bride. Everyone was focused on her and she was supposed to have every set of eyes admiring the 'dress of a century'. However there was one case that would always mean the groom was in the spotlight- marrying Sirius Black.

You didn't mind. Even having people talking to you and complimenting you today made you feel awkward and uncomfortable. But luckily Sirius enjoyed the spotlight and if James touched his hair once more you would definitely consider having gotten the details wrong in that James was meant to be marrying him instead.

Luckily you survived the day (and James commenting about how lucky you were at every second; to be fair you weren't certain if he was fully sarcastic each day) and Sirius insisted on carrying to the car that was taking the two of you home.

Once you got to the car he sat you down in the back seat, shuffling in with you, wrapping his arms around you.

"I love you Y/N Black," he grinned kissing you again.

"I love you too Sirius Black."

He held you close still holding your hand and rotating your wedding ring around your finger with an uncontrollable grin on his face.

"I'm glad I can call you my wife now. I didn't believe it when Prongs said how different it now feels. It may just be making it official however it feels as if everything is different and so much better," he smiled pressing his lips to yours again.

"It is magical," a familiar voice said from the front of the car.

A divider separated the front seats from the backseats where you and Sirius were sat. You glared at your husband.

"James bloody Potter if you are driving the car I am going to kill you," you hissed.

The divider slid open to reveal James sat in the passenger seat.

"Hey Y/N, how's married life treating you?" He grinned.

"I could ask you the same. In all logicalness of marrying a heterosexual male, I should be more concerned with Sirius running off with Lily, not accidentally not reading the fine print and revealing he actually promised his life to your ugly mug," you frowned.

"Ouch Y/N/N," he smirked. "You and Lily knew that in marrying one of us you marry us all. Isn't that right Moony?"

Your jaw dropped as you realised it was Remus driving the car.

"Remus how could you?" You frowned.

"I'm sorry," he sighed.

You turned to your grinning husband.

"You are sleeping on the sofa tonight, and don't expect to consummate this marriage in your near future," you said narrowing your eyes. "Lily will hear about this Potter and I'll tell whomever I need to tell about you Lupin."

"Hey don't jump the gun Y/N. Lily doesn't need to know I'm crashing your after-wedding," James stated.

"Honey, I don't think she's going to let you into her bed either. It's going to be a very dry spell for you boys," you sighed in a slight triumph.

"Nothing different for you then Moony," Sirius laughed.

You gave your husband a warning look again.

"Don't be mean to Remus. Don't worry love, you'll find someone one day," you smiled warning at the driver, "well after I'm no longer pissed at you."

"I know Y/N. You did spend your whole wedding introducing me to your female cousins, friends, that woman from work whom you hated but might be an option, even your recently divorced uncle," he sighed.

"What? Weddings are a great place to meet someone. And you don't understand the fact that at a wedding practically anything the bride says goes. It was a perfect chance to set you up with someone," you smiled.

"Stop trying to set me up with everyone, you even offered me a date with Sirius," he groaned.

"You what?" Sirius asked confused and annoyed.

"I thought he might have been caught up on his friend. And if that was true and you let him down lightly, he'd be able to move on," you shrugged.

"You are insufferable," your husband sighed.

"Back at you buddy."
