Generally, your peers weren't able to get you down, well at least not enough that anyone would be able to tell that you were upset. But today was completely different. You couldn't hold in everything people said anymore. Usually it didn't mean to much. Just words thrown around. But it seemed impossible that with how many people thought the same thing that they could all be wrong. Maybe they were right?

You didn't want to go back to your common room or dorm as people in your house, including your roommates, agreed with other students from the school. The only place that you felt remotely okay in hiding was the library. With so many twists and turns you knew there was a small corner that no one ever really went in, well other than you and your girlfriend.

As soon as you found your corner you sat down leaning your head on your folded arms doing your best to contain your emotions but it seemed near impossible especially as you were succumbing to your sadness. You were only able to be knocked out of your sadness when a gentle hand rested on your shoulder.

Your head snapped up to see Luna smiling warmly down at you.

"Are you okay?" She asked sincerely.

You wanted to lie to her and say that you were okay, just so that she wouldn't worry but you weren't able to do so. Simply you shook your head, clenching your jaw so that you could try to contain how you really felt.

"What's wrong?" She smiled sitting down next to you, holding your hand reassuringly.

"It really doesn't matter," you whispered not wanting to worry her.

"Nonsense. Please tell me. I want to help," she said softly.

You took a deep breath not wanting to worry her but you didn't want to have someone you could talk to about what had happened.

"Some other students kept calling me names and just calling me weird. So many of them have been calling me it, I'm just doubting that they might be right," you sighed sadly.

She let out a soft laugh making you confused. Leaning in she pecked your cheek giving your hand a soft squeeze.

"You are weird though my Love. But that isn't a bad thing," she said confidently.

You furrowed your eyebrows not sure what she was going on about. How couldn't that be a bad thing?

"What do you mean?"

"Well we're all a little weird, aren't we? There isn't any real definition as to what normal is. And truthfully if you weren't a little barmy you would probably be a little boring. Don't let them get you down. No one can dictate what is normal and abnormal, all that matters is that you are amazing and I love you," she smiled leaning in to press her lips to yours.

For the first time your eyes began to well with tears.

"Thank you, Luna. I appreciate it with all of my heart."
