Hermione Granger- Studying (h)

Hogwarts houses were something that felt like a big deal but then once you had one, it was literally just the colours you wore and who you had to live with.

It didn't determine who you were friends with, who you could date, who you could associate with – well unless you were a Slytherin of course, but they were just idiots.

Your girlfriend, Hermione, was in Gryffindor and at times she suited it but other times she seemed as if she should be in a totally different house altogether.

The two of you were sat in the Gryffindor common room, and had been for the majority of the afternoon, due to the both of you needing to do some studying for your O.W.L.s.

Studying was a lot of effort, and there was no way that you could possibly keep up with Hermione – it was like she was a bloody superhuman or something.

You were taking yet another break whilst your girlfriend was frantically flipping through the pages of one of her textbooks.

You sighed and reached to take the book away from her, she made grabby hands at the book as you did so, "Why are you doing that? Give it" she complained at you.

Shutting the book, you placed it onto her rather large pile of textbooks and got her to sit next to you on the sofa "You gotta take a break 'Mione" you reasoned with her.

She shook her head and looked at the textbook you had just taken from her "I can't" she stated as she shook her head again "I gotta get it done" she told you.

You quickly wrapped your arms around her to prevent her from reaching for the book "Nope" you heard her sigh as you spoke.

She eventually gave in and got comfortable with you holding her "I just wanna study" she complained as she looked at her textbooks.

You rolled your eyes "You have been studying for the past three flipping hours" you reminded her "Sweetheart, you know I love you but there's studying and then there's being you" you explained.

She looked up at you glared slightly "What do you mean 'being me'?" she questioned whilst still glaring at you.

"You're practically the Queen of Studying 'Mione" you stated which caused her to laugh.

She shook her head and sat up, with you keeping your arm around her, "That's an exaggeration Y/N" she told you.

You laughed at her response "You never stop studying Sweetheart" you commented "And I am making you take a break"
