Thank you for reading and commenting on my story! I love writing so much that I have a hard time stopping to end a chapter, so that's why my chapters are so long.

During the off time from Hollywood Week to the first live show, both Simon and Paula were busy with their families. Simon just moved his family from London to a new house he bought in L.A. He also got his mom to come along with them and also his brothers also came to help them move in. The kids tried to help them but most stuff was too heavy so they played on the grass while the move was happening. He was already so stressed but the season hadn't really started yet. After they got all of possessions in and unpacked all the boxes, Simon got a call to have an interview with an entertainment show called 'Extra'.

He knew it was a big deal to have an interview with them but he wasn't freaking out about it. He thought nothing of it because he figured that America wouldn't like the show and they would be off air soon enough. But he still couldn't believe he moved his family here without being sure if it was going to work or not. Simon also thought about moving them back but he hoped the show was going to become a hit because it was something new and different. But he still doubted himself and wished that he was going to be right because he had liked the U.S. so far.

The next day he went down to the studios to get his interview done while his mom and his brothers stayed home with the kids. Simon met a lot of nice people but he noticed this girl who he couldn't stop looking at. He was happy to learn that she was going to be the one to interview him. During the interview he answered the questions as best as he could and at the same time tried not to look interested in her. After the interview they sat there just talking about anything but figured out that they had something in common. They both liked each other and really wanted to go out on a date but not dating, just another way to see if they wanted to start dating. So they exchanged phone numbers and planned on going out the next night.

At the same time, in the same area, Paula continued to be the best mom she could be to her kids. She didn't really have a job other than Idol but she was okay with that. Her ex-husband, the girl's father, had to give her a check for a couple hundred a month, which they lived on most of the time. She was always busy driving her kids to and from their sports or to school but she was spending most of her daily life with her kids. But she wouldn't trade it in for anything because she loved them so much and they brought a lot of life back into her life.

Her oldest daughter, Holly looked identical to what she did when she was Holly's age. But for an eight year old she was taller than most because she was tall like her dad. She was a sporty girl who loved to watch and play sports. She loved playing volleyball with her school and played soccer with a team in their town and belongs to a gymnastics center with her little sister. She also loves to sing, dance and just be a very energetic little girl.

Holly's little sister Lily, was her shadow and everywhere Holly went, she would follow. She did all the sports Holly did but she was there for the cute boys and did it because Holly did them. They were only a year apart but people mistake them for twins because they looked a lot alike. And they did everything together which they didn't find weird because they loved it so much. The only difference other than age between them was Holly, was most like a tomboy and Lily was a girly-girl but only came out when there was a spider. Lily would scream and run around the house while Holly cleaned it up and waited for her sister to stop running.

Their dad ran off after Lily was born because he realized he didn't want to be a father. Lily always blamed herself because she thought if she wasn't born than dad would still be around. Her mom would try to tell her that it wasn't her fault and it would happen anyway because he just wasn't a good dad anyway.
