Suddenly Simon and the kids came in the house from playing, to find Paula sobbing. Her makeup ran down her face.

"Mommy why are you sad? I'm worried about you," Lily said with a concerned look on her face.

"Mommy's okay, sweetie," Paula said, trying her best to smile at her daughter.

"So why are you so upset?" Dylan asked curiously.

"Daddy's in trouble," she said looking him with hurt eyes.

"What did you do?" Holly asked, while looking at him.

"I honestly don't have a clue, sweetheart," he said, looking down at her.

Suddenly Paula storms out of the room without saying another word. Simon knows for a fact that she's angry at him. But for the life of him, he couldn't figure out why. So he quickly walks after her and straight into their room. Once he had cleared the doorway, she slammed the door.

Meanwhile back downstairs, the kids were very concerned if this incident was going to affect their perfect family. So they decided to slowly walk up the stairs to spy on their parents. When all four kids arrived at the door, all they could hear was Paula weeping. Since they didn't know why, all had the same idea to put their ear on the door.

On the other side of the door, while Paula continued to cry, Simon was still unsure why she was acting this way.

"Why are you mad at me, darling?"

"What, like you don't know?! Oh and stop with your cute names, I'm not in the mood!"

"I'm sorry, but what is this all about? I don't have a bloody clue about what you're talking about, Paula. Please tell me."

"Okay you have another child with Terri."

"What are you bloody talking about?! I wouldn't do such a rubbish thing to you and the kids! I love you!"

"Okay if you think you're so innocent, go read the letter that she sent you. It's on the kitchen table. According to that stupid letter, the child is yours. Normally I don't read your mail, but it was addressed to me too. I just can't believe that you would hide this from me. Since you think it's okay to lie to me, someone who was going to marry you, I'm done with you. I'm sorry, but I can't trust you anymore. So here's your ring back," she said with no emotion. Then she threw the ring at him.

Simon was speechless. He doesn't really comprehend what was happening in front of his eyes. He hopes at any moment, he would wake up and all of this would be a terrible nightmare. So he pinches himself and his fear was right, he wasn't dreaming. He immediately looks up to see his better half packing her suitcases before his very eyes. He knows that he can't just sit back and watch her walk out of his life. So he gets up from the bed and walks over to try to embrace her, but she moves away from his reach.

"Why are you doing this to me?"

"Look I do love you, but I need time to think about what the right decision is."

"The right decision?"

"If we are made for each other and should become man and wife. Or if we should break up for good and go our separate ways."

"Well I'll be here when you come to a conclusion."

Meanwhile on the other side of the door, the kids took their ears slowly off the door. They all walked a few feet away to sit down and discuss what just happened. The kids sat in a tight circle to talk.

"Does this mean we're not a family anymore?" Rochelle asked, hoping that she was wrong.

"Oh sure we will but it'll..." Holly said trying to look at their new situation in a positive way.
