Hello all! I'm sorry that it's been a while since I posted last. I've been busy with work, life, family and am currently working on a few projects. One of my projects is planning/writing the wedding for this story! It's SO much work, but I've been enjoying it too! So I made this chapter longer because I need to make it up to you somehow. Hope you enjoy this!

It felt like five minutes before Paula felt someone's eyes on her. She opened her right eye to see Simon staring at her.
"What?"
"I was just making sure that you were still here."
She sat up in bed and stretched.
"So how are you feeling about today's meeting?"
"Um I'm not as stressed as I thought I would be."
"You're welcome."
"For what?"
"For making you come to bed last night."
She rolled her eyes and got out of bed. "Come on, let's go wake up the kids."
"But I'm not finished talking about this yet."
"Well I am. We can talk about it on the way to the Baker's if you want."
He nodded.
"Don't let me forget the briefcase that has the wedding notes in it."
"Actually they're already in the trunk of the car. I didn't want us to leave them behind after how you ignored me last night."
"I'm sorry about that. My mind was going a mile a minute and to make you feel better I would've done that to everyone. So don't take it personally."
"Okay but we'll talk later, love. So shall we go scare the children?"
"No Simon we're not to scare the kids, we're going to wake them up nicely."
"I have a better idea."
"What?"
"Why don't you go wake up the children and I'll pretend to be sleeping..."
"So that they can jump on you?"
"No actually I was going to say, I'll pretend to be sleeping and then they can come wake their favorite parent up."
"Like you're their favorite?"
"Yes isn't that what I said? I didn't ignore them last night like some people."
Paula's face dropped. "Wow I totally ignored them too. I'm a horrible mother."
"No you're not. They knew that you were busy."
"But I should never be too busy for our children. Why would you say that?"
"I don't have a bloody idea, but I'm regretting my words. I'm terribly sorry."
"You should be. That wasn't something to joke about. I'm going to make it up to them."
"You could wake them up with the promise that they could jump on their favorite parent."
"Shut. Up. Why can't our kids have a favorite Mom and a favorite Dad?! Why do you claim to be the favorite parent?! Huh? Answer me."
"Calm down, love. I was just joking. You don't need to get worked up over nothing."
"It's not nothing. You really hurt me."
"I'm so sorry. So how can we move pass this?"
Suddenly there was a sweet knock on their bedroom door. Paula slowly opened the door to find Lily standing there.
