"Are you sure you packed everything?" Paula asked.

"Yes Mom we are," Holly said, trying to calm her Mom down. She had never seen her so stressed out before and Holly was starting to get worried about her.

Everyone had packed their bags before heading off to bed the night before. Paula, Holly, and Lily were looking forward to the adventures that laid in front of them. They had manage to get a few hours of sleep. But it was a different story for the other three. Dylan and Rochelle really tried to get some shut eye but failed because they had a lot on their minds. They too were looking forward to the trip. They were super excited to see their family and friends that they had to leave behind in England when they moved to the States. Just like the kids, Simon, had failed to get some sleep too. He too missed his family and friends in England but there was something keeping him up. He was worried that everything wouldn't go according to what he had planned. He knew it was a stupid thing to think about but he couldn't it off his mind.

The next thing he knew the alarm on the nightstand started to sing. It was just two in the early morning. The family was leaving in an hour and they had a lot to accomplish before their driver arrived. Mason Baker had offered to drive them to the airport at the engagement party the night before. Simon didn't know how to respond to that great offer. But after Mason explained that they would save money on gas and airport parking, Simon approved of his request.

"Where could he be?" Paula asked, freaking out. "He's usually on time," she said, trying to keep her cool.

"I'm sure there was traffic," Simon said, trying to get her to calm down.

"Traffic at three in the morning, really Simon?"

"It's just a possibility. Just calm down, love. I'm sure he'll be here soon."

"Okay I guess I'm just stressing out."

"Well you shouldn't be stressing out, everything is taken care of."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes of course I'm sure. You don't have to worry about anything."

"Okay."

Just then the doorbell rang. Mason had arrived and for that Paula was relieved.

"Hey Mason! How are you?" Paula asked smiling. She was trying to hide the fact that she had been freaking out just a minute before.

"I'm good, you?" Mason asked returning the smile, with his hands in his jean pockets.

"I'm tired but ready for a vacation. Do you want to come in?"

"Uh sure thanks. Where's your boyfri-I mean fiance?"

"Yeah I'm still saying that too. But he's around here somewhere."

"Okay, so time is your flight?"

"In about two hours. But you know we have to go through security and all that fun stuff."

"Oh yeah the airport is fun now."

"Hello Mason. Thank you for doing this again. We really appreciate it!"

"Oh it's my pleasure!"

Then Simon and Mason loaded the suitcases in the car. Paula checked the house twice to make sure they don't forget anything. The family left within ten minutes of Mason's arrival. Normally it would've taken them at least double that time, but they were in a hurry. Luckily the freeway was empty and they arrived at LAX in a shocking twenty minutes rather than the normal forty minutes to an hour.
