Chapter 16: Surprise!

~DANCE- DAY (PERFORMANCE DAY!)~

~Katie~

I was woken up by loud banging on the door. I was getting ready for that dance thing that is on today. I had put on a nice dress and got some nice shoes to match it.

"Katie! Lucy's here to pick you up!" I only just heard brother my stupid brother yell over the loud banging. Rolling my eyes I had walked over to my door and open it to stop him from banging.

I tilted my head slightly and grinned telling him to piss off. I walked downstairs where Lucy was wearing a nice dress. This is not really a formal but all the girls still have to wear a dress.

"Pretty. Ready?" I asked pointing towards the door. She smiled and complimented me as we walked through the door. We both had jumped into the car where I greeted Lucy's mum.

We had jumped out at the dance ground at our soccer fields. As we jumped out we saw Jan walking through the front.

I fake coughed and said slut as I looked the other way. I laughed the whole way in through the front gates as did Lucy. We had walked over to the stage that was set up for the performances. I walked over to tune the guitars that Brandon and I will be using. 

There was a D.J. there to play songs before the performances started. Lucy had got a text and walked away with saying I got to go. I smiled and waved. I had finished tuning the guitar just before everyone in my music class had to perform. I walked down the three steps that were there and walked out to where everyone else is.

"Welcome Students, today we will be listening to the music classes performances. First I would like to welcome Katie and Brandon," The teacher announced. I looked behind me and moaned before I walked up. I ended up walking out of the crowd of grade twelves and up to the stage where Brandon was waiting on a stool.

I grabbed the guitar on the way up and smiled like I was excited. Inside I'm as nervous as shit. The teacher had walked off the stage.

"We will be performing You can come to me from a TV show Austin and Ally. Hope you enjoy," Brandon said. He nodded to me and I nodded back. Lets get this started...

We both had started strumming the guitar at the same time.

[Katie:]
