~Katie~
Facebook: I'M LITERALLY SHITTING MYSELF! ALMOST EVERYONE WILL BE WATCHING MY TEAM AND THE OTHER TEAM PLAY! HOLY SHIT! SHIT SHIT SHIT! WHY IS THIS SOCCER FIELD A MASSIVE STADIUM THAT'S ALMOST BOOKED OUT TODAY?! THIS IS NOT BLOODY W-LEAGUE HARD CORE SHIT!
Lucy and Nathan are Boyfriend and Girlfriend again now so there's one extra person that'll be watching.
Lucy's mum has drove me and Lucy down to soccer for the extra one hour training before the game.
"Shit, Shit, Shit, Shit, Shit," I kept repeating jumping every step towards the change rooms.
"You need that energy! CALM DA FACK DOWN!" Lucy shouted trying to hold me down. Which failed... LOL!
"Shit!" I heard Hayley yell from a short distance. She came running up to us and started doing the same thing I was doing. We all got to the change room and some of the girls were jumping or sitting down. Some were washing their face off with some nice cold water.
"Ok girls!" The coach yelled as she walked through the back doors with some Gatorade and some bags with balls and another that would hold our jerseys. She dropped them all on the ground.
I got up and pulled out the jerseys and gave them to the girls. Lucy handed out the Gatorade and Maggie handed out the water and a ball each.
"Ok! Now you got your jerseys and such. The Captain for this game is- Also don't forget that this is that captain of this team for this year...- And the captain is Katie!" She said pointing to me and chucking me the band that had a 'C' on it for me to wear on my arm. Jan scoffed and everyone death stared her as I looked away trying to hold in my laugh.
"The positions are..." she told us. I'm centre midfield like usual. We did one hour of training out in the shade. Even though it's in the shade, It's fucking hot.
I slipped the band on my arm while back in the change room. I looked out of the change room and it's packed. Two stadium benches are pretty much full (The rows they are in... Like the ones that are completely separated) and they are the only ones I can see. I noticed most of the crowd had our club jerseys on but with our sponsor.
We all had a short break drink before we had to go do the training session again.
Kick off is at two and it is 1:45 now so we have fifteen minutes to cool off, thank goodness. We all lined up for the sink and the toilets so we don't need to go while we're playing.
I got out of the toilet from doing my business and I washed my hands and my face. Just as I turned around Lucy was standing behind me.
"Katie, they are outing this on game on T.V," Lucy said looking dead serious. She can't be serious... We are just much higher than a division one team.
"Your kidding?" I asked. She shook her head and said I wish I was. I wish she was too to be honest. "Shit! That means anyone can watch," I said wiping my face with my shirt.
The coach walked in interrupting my thoughts.
"Ok girls. As some know this is going on T.V. No pressure," he said and then everyone groaned. "Here are some ribbons you have to wear in your hair" she said chucking them at us. We tied them in as soon as we got them. They were pink so I'm guessing it's for breast cancer.
"You will be walking out with some kids of your family if they had come or just some kids. And also we will be having one minute silence for Nelson Mandela," he announced as we all got up and got ready to se the kids. We walked through a hall area and into a room with heaps of kids.
