Chapter 27: YOU'RE WHAT?

It is five o'clock in the morning and we have to leave soon. I have all my music that Lucy and I chose on my phone. I packed all of my clothes and belongings yesterday.

As you can depict, I like Bridget Mendler.. but she is a good singer so HA!

And Lucy had pretty much only little mix songs.

Knock Knock!

I got up off the couch and turned off my spongebob. I opened up the door and it revealed Brandon.

"Hey," He said as he opened his arms for a hug. I quickly ran in and gave him a hug as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Hey, Lucy and Nathan are coming here so we wait here," I told Brandon. He shrugged and walked inside. He turned the TV back on and spongebob came on. He looked at me and laughed so I hit him in the arm.

"Nothing wrong with that!" He said as he rubbed where he was hit.

We sat down watching spongebob waiting for Lucy and Nathan.

Not long after there was a knock on the door. I got up off the couch and opened the door. Nathan had a sad smile on his face and Lucy looked horrible.

"What's wrong?" I asked. Nathan looked from me to his feet then back to me. "Come in."

They walked in slowly.

"I'll tell you in the car," Lucy said. She dug her head into Nathans chest and started crying.

"Luc, please stop. We will get through this, together. I promise," he said sympathetically. I would usually understand what's going on now but its too early.

After a minute of that she stopped and wiped her tears away.

Mum walked down the staircase slowly.

"Morning kids," she greeted. She walked over and pecked my head then disappeared into the kitchen.

When she walked back out we all said night then she said have fun and goodbye.

We all walked out and I put my clothes bag and pillows and extras in the boot of Brandons car. We were all moving Lucys and Nathans stuff from Nathans car to Brandons car.

"Nope, you're not hurting yourself," Nathan said to Lucy as he grabbed the plastic box from her hands. "this is heavy."

She huffed and sat in the backseats of the Hilux.

Once that was done we all jumped in the car and said our goodbyes to my parents and my brother. 

"Would you mind stopping at my place?" Lucy asked Brandon.

"Sure." Brandon shrugged. We drove to Lucys place and her and I went in.

She grabbed something out of her cupboard quickly and shoved it in her pants pocket.

"What's that?" I asked looking at where she put it.

"Umm, nothing important." She unsure about what she said. She is hiding something important from me and I can't wait.

We walked outside after we said goodbye to her parents.

She went to put something in the boot but her shirt went up a bit so I took the opportunity and snatched the piece of paper out of her pocket.

"Give it back! I'll show you what it is in the car," she said trying to take it out of my hands but i kept moving my hand back so she couldn't grab it.

I felt bad but I turned my back and unfolded it.

"Stuff it, you deserve to know right now," she said. Giving up?

I read it. I knew exactly what this was when I read the first line.

She's had a PREGNACY TEST DONE?!

I read on and stopped when I saw the result.

Positive.

I turned to Lucy, sadly smiled and gave her a hug to comfort her. She cried while i rubbed her back.

Nathan told Brandon whats going on when we got back in the car.

"your the father right Nathan?" I asked breaking the little bit of silence not including the music.

"Of course he's the father," Lucy said. Ok, I was just asking.. Chill.

"How far are you in?" I asked.

"Umm, I dunno. Maybe a week or more? I have no idea but I remember it was after soccer finals," She said sounding a little unsure.

"Does your mum know about this?" I asked the two of them.

"yep," Nathan said. "Mum eves dropped on one of our phone calls."

"nope, hell no." Lucy said sounding 100% sure of what she was saying. "I dont plan on telling her for a while yet either, until this bump starts showing."

I turned around and smiled at the sight. Lucy's hand is on her stomach and Nathans was on top of hers. They both were looking down at their boy or girl smiling.

I think all they needed to know its all going to be ok is for someone to say something good about it and say that they will help them if needed.

"Im always here if you need me, im just a call away" I said. "And you guys will be great parents."

"You think so?" Nathan asked.

"I know so." Both Brandon and I said.
