Chapter 75
Harry's POV
She isn't here.
My eyes scan the perimeter of the cemetery and there's no sign of her. Shit, where could she be?
After pacing through rows of gravestones, I decide I'll drive around town searching for any traces of her.
Maybe she went back to the bar... I run across the cemetery and practically jump into my seat, throwing the car in drive and speeding off in the direction of the bar.

The headlights of my car light up the dark streets and my eyes scan around for any sign of Karleigh.
The neon sign of Tanner's Bar and Pub lights up nearby, catching my attention. Flicking my blinker on, I turn into the parking lot.
When I don't see Karleigh's silver mustang anywhere, I don't bother getting out of my vehicle. A long sigh escapes me as I shove the gear shifter into reverse, pulling out of the lot.
Just as I'm exiting the bar parking lot, I notice a lonesome silver car parked across the street. It's parked crooked in the lot of a dingy motel.
And with just one look, I know it's Karleigh's mustang.
Crossing two lanes without the use of my blinker I make a u-turn and enter the parking lot that Karleigh's mustang is in.
My mind is running a mile a minute as I burst through the doors of the motel lobby. A fat, dirty looking man stares at me as I walk in. Shoving my hands into my pockets, I walk up to his desk.
"Yeah dude?" He grumbles.
"Uh, I'm looking for a blonde haired girl about five foot....drunk." I animatedly explain to him, making gestures with my hands.
He looks up at me begrudgingly.
"You mean the chick who threw up in my lobby a while ago?" He asks in annoyance.
"That's probably her..." I trail off, my eyes darting around as if she may appear any minute.
"Technically I'm not supposed to give away residential information because it's confidential...but that girl needs help. She's in the first door on the left down that hallway." He informs me and I immediately start walking away.
"Dude wait!" He calls after me and I stop and turn to him.
"You need a key to get in" He reminds me, waving a room key around.
Part of this situation bothers me, that he's not asking for i.d. or anthing, when for all he knows I could be a serial killer. But under the circumstances, I need to get to Karleigh so I won't question his lousy judgement skills.
Snatching the key from his sausage fingers, I turn and rush down the hall to reach Karleigh. I have no issue finding her room, simply by following the fat guy's directions.
When I open the door to her room I nearly trip over something. All of Karleigh's bags are piled in the entrance of her room.
"Karleigh?" I call out to her. When I don't recieve a response I pad across the motel room in search for her. The bed is empty and my heart rate is pounding.
What if she parked her car in the lot and walked somewhere. Dammit, I should've gone inside the bar to check if she was there.
The dim light from beneath the bathroom door captures my attention and I rush to the bathroom door. My hand connects with the bathroom door and her name falls from my lips.
