Chapter 9- Mom and Dad's Plan

Karina's POV

Just as I was about to get in the car I see Aiden or whatever his name is giving me the evil "you better not even try it" look so I just shake my head and head to my room. He knocks on my door a few times and I just ignore it and lay down on my bed and closed my eyes. I didn't feel like looking or talking to anybody at this point. After falling asleep and waking up the next day, everyone decided it was best to start heading back home since school will be starting soon and Dad decided to be a music teacher like he use to be (or at least that's what he told us) Jazzy asked mom if she was also getting a job at the school and she said that she was so she wouldn't be too far from everyone and that we could all spend more time together...great just what I need after all that has happened.

On the way back home in the RV I sat in the back with headphones on just muting everyone out and minding my own business until Aiden sits next to me and I scoot away from him looking away. " Karina...why won't you give Aiden a chance? he is our bro.." before Jazzy even finished I corrected her," NO he's NOT my brother nor do I need one" She looks at Aiden who looked a bit hurt and I looked down trying to ignore it. When we finally arrived home mom told us the room has been decorated for Aiden who is near me and Jazzy's room. Aiden went to his room and kept to himself after thanking mom and dad.. I looked at the ground and run to my room and lock the door.

Jasmine's POV

I really wish Karina would really give Aiden a chance because he's really a nice person and I'm glad he's my..our brother. As I watched both of them go to their rooms I can see the space and distance between the two, I know if she gives him a chance she'd like him. "well that settles it" huh? I turn around when dad says that and mom smiles and says "yup it does". I stare at them looking even more confused than ever. They look at me smiling," since they can't seem to get along we'll just have projects for them to do together and if you would like to join you can" dad says and I smile," is that a good idea?" and mom replies," haha oh yes it's a classic way of letting someone getting to know another" then I thought about it and if I joined she'd just use me and not really try to get to know him," I think i better not this time maybe next time...she needs to get to know him" they both nod.

As the night end and another day began, we all got ready for school and mom hugged and kissed all of us as she walks to her class and we go our seperate ways when we get there. "Karina...you really should just try to get to know him" I say softly and she just keeps walking ,"no thanks " I look at her as she walks to the classroom and I sigh. As the day went by and the last class which is music I walked there and saw Karina and Aiden and I waved at both of them but they both seem to just blow it off. I looked down and sat down as dad walked in with mom,"Hello class I'm Mr Hudson and this is Mrs. Hudson she will be in here since this is her free period" I giggled she is such a slacker when it comes to doing work. "As tradition we have one person to start the solo for the beginning of the year...this time it's...Aiden" I look at Aiden as he looks at dad shocked basically pleading no haha. "Don't be shy and just sing what comes to your mind nobody will judge you buddy" dad says and Aiden says and walks to the front of the class and to the piano and begins playing and singing

I have often dreamed

When he finished the classroom was dead silent for a while because it was really good but also full of sorrow and you could hear the pain in his voice. The class, mom and dad starts clapping and from a distance I could hear Karina in a low voice said,"what have I done?...I didn't meant to hurt him" I look at here then at Aiden and he looks at Karina then returns to his seat. I have a feeling they will become closer than anybody ever imagined.
