Chapter 19- The Past Nobody Knew

[A/N: I decided to do a special collab with this and my other story The Royal Seven Seas I really hope you enjoy them :) ]

Aiden's POV

After taking Yazzy to her room me, Karina, and her all watched a movie till it was bedtime then we all went to our own beds for the first time in a long time since dad's death. When I woke up I was going through some old things wondering what to keep and throw out then I stumbled on a photo I completely forgot and I stared at it with sadness. I was so focused on the photo I never heard anybody come in. "Who's that?" Karina says with Yazzy next to her. I look at them then back at the photo and say softly,"...It's my brother Lucas, boyfriend Chris, dad, and my sister Annaley." They both look at me then the photo with sadness," what happened to them?" Yazzy says quietly as if she was afraid to ask and I sighed. "My sister....after she graduated she had to return back home...it was hard after a few days but I couldn't take it anymore and left." finally looking up at them and sighing," Wait....so you mean to tell me you left your boyfriend, dad, brother, and sister behind?....why?" Karina says. I look at her, "because...I knew I would never see Anna anymore for a long time and it broke my heart more than I ever thought it would" saying the last part softly. Yazzy puts her hand on my shoulder," then why not go see her?" she says and I felt kinda speechless after that because I was so upset and down that I completely forgot that I could've visit her anytime " I guess you never thought of that till now " Karina says and giggles and I scratch my head and smile saying yea. "well lets go see her" Yazzy says and Karina says, " Yazzy he probably don't want us to meet her that's his private life."actually I'd like to introduce you both to all of them starting with Anna."

I grab the keys to family car and took Karina and Yazzy to the beach and parked and we walked to the edge of the sand where the water was. "Why are we here?" Karina says and Yazzy added ," yea we haven't been here since last summer.....with dad" Karina smiles and added," I remember Yazzy and it was a big party we crashed where six girls got married and they seemed so young" I smiled remembering that day. "yea they just graduated a day before and they had to in order to return home" I say. They both look at me,"how do you know that?" Karina asked and I looked down. "I'll show you but do you both trust me?" I say and they both nod and I take both of their hands after placing my hands on their shoulders so I gave them the ability to breath underwater and took them under and they struggled as I drug them deeper and I turned around and said," don't hold your breath, I gave you power to breathe underwater" letting them go and they both say "huh" then look at eachother shocked,"...Aiden....what's going on?" Yazzy asked and I looked at her. It was hard to explain and I doubt they would believe me if I did try. I pulled my pendant to the outside and said," lead me to my sister" again Yazzy and Karina said "huh" but the necklace started to glow and point to a direction and I started to swim towards it with them following behind. It brought us to a castle and you could hear clapping inside so you could tell there was a party. We sneaked inside and stayed in the back where nobody could see. Then the music began and the curtain rose as everyone clapped and there before Jazzy and Karina was 5 mermaids...wait where's Anna? "They...they're" Jazzy says and I stop her and nod yes and turn my attention back to the mermaids. Where is she? the necklace led me here so she's gotta be here somewhere. I look around and there she was in the front row watching her friends smiling with a crescent moon hair clip on the back of her blue fading to purple hair and a crescent moon and sun tiara on her head.

Her friends sung at least 5 songs or more and not one did Anna get up to sing she just sat there smiling and watching. One grabs the microphone after the song ends I believe her name was Jess...anyways she says," Hey everyone now is time to bring up the birthday girl...sing loudly as she comes...1....2...3." Everyone starts singing as Anna comes to the stage elegantly in a dress of course tail hanging. The girls sing and hand her the mic as Nathan brings out the cake. When they are done singing Anna blows out the candles (don't ask how they got it lit cause even I'm still trying to figure it out) and says on the microphone," Thank you all for coming here to celebrate my birthday....it has been a long journey but with my friends....and my husband..(I glance at her husband and glare then go back to looking at her sadly) this is only the beginning so please stay and enjoy party" she hands Nathan the microphone and goes back down. Nathan puts some dance music on as everyone dance and Anna slowly sneaks away from the party in the back and I told Jazzy and Karina to follow but to keep quiet. We kept a good distance and followed till she returned to her home I opened the door to stare at a big empty home....Anna...you must have been so lonely. I hear music play and follow the sound to see her gazing outside the window with her back to me while the song played on a the music box. It was the same one that was given on her graduation and it played the tune her and her friends sung. I looked at her as she gazed out her window full of sadness. It was her birthday....and nobody knew that she left the party or that she was so unhappy. what can I do?
