Chapter 11- Yasmine's Song & Unexpected Reunion

Yazzy's POV

It's my turn to sing and my partner bailed on me which honestly I'm ok with since he kinda sucked at singing and really didn't put much effort into it anyways. I decided to change my song. I remember hearing this song on the radio and it touched me ever since I heard about my heart condition. I walk to the front of the class and walk to the piano and start playing

I get up and the class claps as I return to my seat, I won't give up without a fight I'll hold on as long as I can to keep my family together as long as I can. "Powerful words in the song Yasmine and good choice" dad says and I blush. "everyone should always keep fighting for what they believe in and never give up" dad continues."so I know you guys just love singing soooo much you guys get to plan your first concert and own songs BUT it has to be appropriate" and the class laughs. Mom leans in and kisses him forgetting their in a classroom "ahem" Aiden says loudly and they both stop and blush and apologizes.

Ashley's POV

I kinda lost track in my honey's lips I completely forgot we was in a classroom, as he continues to teach and they start planning the concert and who is singing and who's doing a solo. Also I saw we had a new kid in class and i whispered to Finn about it and he says that his name was Daniel Lambert. Lambert? why does that name sound so familiar? oh well not my problem. Once we finished and went home, my brother and twin sister visited and we all had dinner while the kids was all in the backroom playing a video game and from the sounds of it Aiden and KP are winning haha. "so how have you been sister" Dani ask while Liam looks at me and I smile," I'm doing great how about you guys?" I ask and Dani says," the boys are growing too fast for me haha" and Liam says," yea well Diane is doing alright but I think she's kinda reminding of her Aunt Ashley" and everyone laughs while I say,"Heeey you act like it's so bad" I chuckle. "did you remember how you was when I first came back?" he asked and I burst out laughing.

"I take that as a yes haha but Diane she just can't seem to stay out of trouble" saying the last part more worried. "Liam...she might have something going on you just have to see what it is" I say and he nods. After dinner everyone says their goodbyes and I noticed a small bruise on Diane when she was reaching for her bag but kept quiet. The next day seemed to fly by so quickly and I noticed Daniel was sitting in front of the school waiting for his ride. I told Finn I'll catch him and the girls home I'll wait and make sure Daniel's ride gets here safely. Finn nods and kisses me then leaves with the girls. "Hey Daniel is your parents coming to get you soon?" I say sitting down. "yea my dad will be here soon, he can be late sometimes" he says shyly. Just then I see a car pulling up and his dad walks out saying," sorry I'm late buddy I was..." and he stops and looks at him," Ashley.....Ashley Payne?" I look at him. oh my goodness it can't be. "D...David.....David Lambert is that you?" and he smiles.
