Chapter 45- Is It Really A Successful Mission?

Karina's POV

We was all in the car and I stared out the window and we was all quiet not knowing what to even say and Yazzy was the first to break the silence out of all of us. "So....why exactly IS Destiny our mission? I mean what did she do?" she says and we all look at Avan and he looks down when he pulls up to the stop light and sighs. "honestly I don't even know how to tell you guys but it's been harder and harder to track her down and we just have a bad feeling about this and wanted to send the ones who knew her best to try and reach her" He says and we all nod. I gazed out the window remembering our mission last time when it was our grandparents and I remember being so vulnerable, weak, and so afraid. I saw how Yazzy had to be brave for me and she wouldn't hesitate to take a stand to protect me. Ever since then I knew I had to get stronger not only for her and the people that I love, but also for myself to prove that I could do it. I guess this is my chance to prove how much I really have changed since then. I was pulled out of our thoughts pulling up to a club and we looked at him confused," this is the last place her radar picked up from her" he says turning the car off. She wouldn't go back to doing that would she? "Dammit Destiny" I hear Caleb mumble and I see Andrew clench his fist. We get out the car and decided to spread out into two teams with Caleb and I on one team and Yazzy and Andrew on the other.

Yazzy and Andrew were going to go through the front and we was going to go through the back, but before we got started Avan gave us each ear pieces to speak to eachother without being noticed. We nodded to eachother and immediately went off on the search for Destiny. As Caleb and I go through the back and I say," you don't think she would be here again do you?" and Caleb sighed saying," for her sake she better not or she's answering to us this time" he says in an angry yet calm tone. One thing I learned is if someone is upset and talking calm the best thing to do is RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK. We checked a few rooms which luckily she wasn't there. One by one we checked the rooms and each room was cleared...well not technically cleared but didn't have Destiny in it which each time we sighed of relief. We headed to the last room and as we was about to open the door Yazzy and Andrew catches up with us and looks like they had no luck either in finding her here. "I guess this is the last room" Yazzy says. I nodded and opened the door and the room was dark, we all walk in and feel around for a light and Andrew finally finds it and turns it on and there she was. Destiny and she was lying on the floor next to pills and a razor. "RUN AND TELL AVAN TO GET THE CAR STARTED" Caleb says to Yazzy and her and Andrew run while I help him to carry her to the car. When we reach the car we put her in and immediately drive to the hospital and luckily it wasnt too busy so they took her to ICU while we all waited in the waiting room. Me and Yazzy was sitting down while, Avan was standing against the wall by the door, Andrew was staring out the hospital window ruffling his hair (he usually did that when he was frustrated) and Caleb was pacing back and forth.

"can we....really call this a successsful mission?" Yazzy says softly looking at the ground and we all look at her not really knowing what to really say. The others look down and I hold her saying," Yes Yazzy we can because we DID find her and that was the main mission...now we must wait for the doctors to let us know she will be ok." Yazzy on the verge of tears says," can we really believe she is ok? I mean look at where we are Karina.....and not only that but also where she WAS....She PROMISED Karina....she..promised" Yazzy says the last part softly and I hold her while the others look at her softly. Yazzy has always been the strong one and this time it's my time to be the strong one for her. I hope mom and the others are having better luck then we are because we didn't expect it to all end like this.

Aiden's POV

Uncle Liam was stil being stubborn and was now being even more stubborn then normal and he is been beat up pretty good and not caving and I was ready to hit him with the bat but mom stopped me and she looks at Liam and he stares at her and screams," WHY ARE YOU LETTING THEM DO THIS? I WOULD HAVE NEVER LET THIS BE DONE TO YOU? MAYBE MOM WAS RIGHT...MAYBE YOU DID DESERVE IT.....EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED AND EVERYTHING THEY DID TO YOU" I was ready to seriously hit him and I see mom slowly backing away. "w..wait Ash...I" Liam says realizing what he just said but I didn't say anything and my body started to shake. "mom?" I says softly but she doesn't respond. "Ash...I'm so sorry" Liam says. She doesn't respond or say anything still and I can tell she's zoning out. "MOM" I shouted and this time Chris, Luciel, and Ray was looking at her worried. She stops and slowly goes down to her knees and starts singing softly like she was singing to herself.
