 A mixed rice bowl with vegetables, gochujang (red chili paste), sesame oil, and usually topped with a fried egg and beef or tofu.
Bulgogi (불고기)
 Thinly sliced marinated beef, grilled or stir-fried. Sweet, savory, and very tender.
Kimchi Jjigae (김치찌개)
 Spicy kimchi stew with tofu, pork, or tuna, comforting and full of umami.
Samgyeopsal (삼겹살)
 Grilled pork belly eaten with lettuce wraps, garlic, ssamjang (sauce), and side dishes.
Japchae (잡채)
 Stir-fried glass noodles with vegetables and sometimes beef. Light, sweet-savory, and aromatic with sesame oil.

Doenjang Jjigae (된장찌개)
 Soybean paste stew with tofu, vegetables, and sometimes shellfish or meat.
Galbitang (갈비탕)
 Clear soup made with beef short ribs, delicate and nourishing.
Seolleongtang (설렁탕)
 Milky beef bone soup served with rice and green onions, very mild and soothing.

Korean Fried Chicken (치킨)
 Extra crispy, double-fried chicken with sauces like spicy gochujang or soy garlic.
Tteokbokki (떡볶이)
 Spicy rice cakes simmered in gochujang sauce, chewy, sweet, and spicy.
Hotteok (호떡)
 Sweet syrup-filled pancakes sold by street vendors, often filled with brown sugar, nuts, and cinnamon.
