Chapter 11

-Sofie-

After Kelvin told me those things lumakad na siya palayo sa akin and never look back at me. Kahit alam ko na mahal ako ni Kelvin not as a cousin because Jaylord already told me that pero sakit pa rin ang nararamdaman ko ngayon para akong nawalan ng taong minamahal. 

Minamahal? Do I really love Kelvin not as a cousin? Do I really felt something for him?

Ang gulo-gulo ng utak pati na ng puso ko. I don't know who I really love, hindi naman pwedeng si Jaylord at si Kelvin ang mahal ko. But I kiss him also, I guess, I have an answer already.

I am standing here at the end of the hallway where we shared a kiss when Jaylord showed up. "Sof? Okay ka lang?" He come near me and looked at me. "Bakit ka umiiyak?"

"Can I have my bestfriend?" I asked and he nod. He wraps his arms around my waist and dragged me toward my cabin. He gets my keys on my pocket jeans and opens the door. He let me sit on my couch and let me take a breather before he interrogates me.

"Bakit umiiyak si bestfriend?" he asked. Ganyan siya lagi if I have a problem.

"I'm sorry." That's the only word I said and tears stream down my eyes.

"Why are you saying sorry?" he asked while wiping my tears

"I love you but..."

"You love Kelvin more." He interrupted me without any expression but when I look into his eyes and I saw pain. Eyes are really windows to the soul.

"I already knew that Sofie but I made myself blind because I am so much in love with you." He continued.

"I am sorry." I said and tears fell down again in my cheeks.

"You don't have to say sorry." He said while wiping my tears away for the second time. "Ako yung nagrisk na mahalin ka. Ako, ako ang may kasalanan. Ako dapat humingi ng sorry." He said and smiled at me, a fake smile.

"Will you help me?" I said. This is the only way I know to correct everything.

"Anything and you know that." He said.

"Please, be with me again. Let me forget him." I said.

"It's sort of a rebound?" He asked and when I realized that I am asking him is the same thing he said I immediately stop myself. "Never mind what I said." I said and look at away at him.

He cupped my cheeks and said the words that I am wanted to hear. "Sofie, I am willing to be your rebound." And he kisses me in the lips.

That afternoon something happen between us, I gave myself to him. I love him but I love someone more. For the whole time we did that Jaylord is the only one I think. His kisses, his touch gave me shiver in my body and I felt I am protected.

"Did I hurt you?" he asked me while we wrap ourselves together under the sheet.

"It's all worthy." I smiled and gave him peck on the lips.

"Want to come with me?" He asked while his fingers tracing my neck.

"Where?" I said while looking at him.

"At my house. I will stay there until Sunday babalik na ko sa oras ng O.U. Ball."

"Baka hindi ako payagan ni Head Master."

I heard him chuckled and pull me tighter closer to him. He whispered in my ears. "Heir of Williams, remember? I have more power here than him." He sits up and looks at me. "Get dress babe, we are going to my family."
